outatime Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 So just got back from Legoland and they had several RE on the shelf, I visit nearly weekly and they have had hardly any JW but this week they had quite a bit!So the seal codes were.....drum roll 20R15 ...... still shipping out the old sets! I have 20 that can be returned till mid Oct will you return them, flip them or maybe still keep them? Or wait it out to see how much of a restock we get? Never been in this position before so wanted to ask the elders I can't seem to help myself buying them when I come across them! If you couple the (apparently increasing) rate of scumbags returning pilfered sets to stores with resellers working to massively manipulate retailer stock, I think it is inevitable that stores will implement more stringent return policies. Pretty much everyone loses if that happens.In this specific set, I remain skeptical that LEGO would call it quits on this set this early and am not overly optimistic about the overall ceiling on prices. I QFLL a good fraction of what I have bought so that the profit pays for the small fraction I will hold longer. Then I am playing with house money where it is very hard to lose regardless of what LEGO decides to do with this set.
