Here is a Brick Fan review to boot.

Definitely getting a couple of this love set. Any thoughts on whether this could be sought after around Valentine 2015?

I have an option of buying multiple sets of Winter VIllage Bakery for 59 EUR - 77 USD. I am just starting out as an investor. Is there any potential worth in this, either as in immediate resell or future investment?

Just like the Year of the Snake exclusive to China set, LEGO will release yet another this time celebrating the Year of the Sheep (or Goat) in 2015.

Hey BPs, just found this site, so helpful. I've been flipping a low volume of WV sets for a few years, but thought I'd get some input on the promo set 40106. Would it be wise to hold on to this set and sell as a bundle with Santa's Workshop after EOL? Sell by itself? It seems the most connected (of the promo sets) to a main WV set. Is anyone else excited about the ROI possibility on Santa's Workshop? I think this will be huge.

Does anyone have the exact weight of this set? I just bought a sealed box but it feels pretty light compare to other Winter sets. Thanks in advance.

I have a few WVM I was going to hold onto until Christmas season 2015 (retired at that point). Seeing how Santa'sW is almost constantly TOOS, would you unload the WVM this year and start loading up on Santa'sW for Christmas season 2016? (assuming historical retirement schedule of course) Santa's Workshop seems like it will be a massive score EOL. Thoughts?

This year's Christmas polybag has been discovered and unsurprisingly looks similar to the last tree one in 2013 only thinner. Source: Brickset

Just in case you did not know (or stumbled upon them like me), all three of this year's advent calendars are available from Lego Shop-at-Home in every region. City Advent Calendar - $29.99 Star Wars Advent Calendar - $39.99 Friends Advent Calendar - $29.99

I was considering surprising the fam with one of the winter sets to build for holiday decoration. Given the somewhat discouraging reviews of the Santa Workshop, which of the others would you recommend instead? It has to be reasonably obtainable though, so likely not long since retired sets. Is winter village market a fun set to build and display?

I bought 5 or 6 of the Holiday Bauble 853345 (gold bricks) on clearance a few months back... can't recall what I paid... $2 or $3 each? Have had them on Amazon FBM ever since at the lowest price ($11.90 shipped) and have not sold a single one (despite this being the cheapest Lego ornament I found in a quick search). I was just thinking about opening them up and parting out the bricks. Interesting... the tag says "43 pcs"... I now learned that means 40 bricks + 2 ornament halves + 1 gold ribbon. Doing a little more research, I see that a few are selling on eBay around $10 each... maybe I'll just do that. One other idea... part out the bricks, and sell the empty bauble…

This is now available at Shop@Home. https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Christmas-Train-Ride-40262 Tis the season! Choo-choo!

  23. These sets are only available in the US at the moment, does anyone know if it will come to Europe?

We are starting to hear about the upcoming annual Halloween set. It sure looks better than last year's Vampire setswhich can still be found in some Lego stores at 50% off. LegoLeroy from eurobricks posted a pic of a recent Halloween set which was taken from the backs of the Seasonal 2017 Easter Egg Hunt's (40237) instruction. Set name and # will be announced soon. Allen from thebrickfan wrote up a nice little summary, "From the looks of it, the set shows off a large gate and in the background, there’s presumably a haunted house with an orange sky backdrop. There’s also a cauldron with some food stuff in it. The minifigures include a man and a skeleton"
