Hi, I’ve been around the forums for awhile but I never say anything. I’m a huge LEGO fan (specifically Star Wars) and I sometimes dabble in reselling. This site is awesome, and has helped me get some great deals over the past year. I look forward to being a little more active in this community this year!

Hi All!! Man - am I happy to find this website! I've joined recently and have gone 'all in' and appreciate the community. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. My son(almost 4) and daughter (2) are super into Lego Duplos. Our recent trip to Lego Land made them more into it. Recently constructed our first 'City Bus' together and my son just LOVES everythign about it. As a kid, I got hand-me down legos from others, and loved it. Want to be able to really let my son enjoy it - and secretly...sneak in some sets as well!

Hi all! After a long time of wondering whether or not I should jump into the brick picking business, I have finally made the plunge. I've always been a huge fan of LEGO and after a few years of absence I came back to it about 3 years ago buying and building a few things here and there. I'm ready to take things to a new level (all though I'm seriously jealous of the deals some of you in the US and UK seem to get from B&M stores, here in NL there aren't that many exciting opportunities) I'll be lurking around the boards for a while before I have anything interesting to contribute. So much to read up on and learn! It's interesting to see how quickly i…

  7. Dear LEGO Fans, I want to share with you my story, more precisely - The way LEGO has changed my life. It all started more than three years ago, When I reached the accomplished age of 30, I had to go under open heart surgery, due to a birth defect. The time has arrived, I started feeling bad, had difficulties breathing, going up the stairs…it started to be hard functioning, and just a year earlier, I became to be a proud father of amazing twins. I was devastated thinking about all the risks and complications involved in the surgery. It was certainly needed, it was necessary in order to promise me and my family life and future. I was always an anxious pe…

  8. Just joined a few weeks back after a friend sent me a link I am a gainfully employed father of a 7 yr old boy who loves Legos (both me and my son)...and I recently got into my childhood toy about 3 months ago and have probably spent over $3K on Legos since between Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, and Target...and Lego Shop at home. The spark that got me into it was Voltron..that was too much nostalgia plus Lego, plus coolness to resist. Its been an education to say the least. The Site is great...love the Lego news and deals sections...the acronyms are annoying and moving about the site is also clunky. Since this site often focuses on re-sale...I posted the …

As I'm not much familiar with BrickPicker (yet), and as I don't receive any reply from BP support, I want to ask if it's possible to import a set list from another site (Brickset, Rebrickable, ...) to my existing brickfolio here, or the import is just possible to an empty brickfolio? Thank you all

Hi everyone a while ago I was fortunate enough to buy this ex-Legoland figure, she used to be on the Carousel ride. When she was decomisioned the director took her home for his children and it would seem that she is a lucky survivor! She must weigh 40kgs and is a substantial model. I'm not sure of the value or the best way to sell her, at a guess maybe a large toy auction? Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

My husband very recently passed away and he was an avid Lego collector. We have many kits that have been built, and the Lego's all co-mingled. How do I go about knowing the value of these? All instruction books are still available. We have also added to the loose pieces with yard sale finds and Lego store buys. He delighted in just buying the Lego's after he had torn down his initial very large set up. One yard sale I came upon a bucket of minifigs, and he was just besides himself. I love that he found so much joy in this. But now I need to know what to do with everything as eventually I will need to downsize. Thank you.

Hi, I've just joined and thought that I should introduce myself. I've been an AFOL for around 10 years - I collect UCS Star Wars sets and run a Bricklink store (which hovers around 50K parts). I'm a member of Eurobricks (Fellow) and Brickset with the same username. I've been lurking for a while, but I'm always on the lookout for bargains so I thought that I should join up! Cheers, Robin

  25. Started by Phred62,

Hey all. New here and really amazed at the site. I saw a link to this site from a discussion about insurance of/for Lego collections. So i'm not so much a reseller as a collector. I don't even know if I'm an investor. I have a lot of sets from when I was younger. Late 60's through mid/late 70's. I got back into Lego last year when we were at Costco doing some shopping. They had a Lego set, I think it was from The Lego Batman Movie. Decided to buy it as the cost was decent. I've since watched the movie and as a result bought sets related to the movie. That first set at Costco has, of course, brought back the fun of Lego. I've probably spent more than I shoul…
