Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Toronto and have been building Lego sets for 20 years. I am interested beginning to invest in Lego, though I will say I still have a long way to go before I start buying sets. Anyway, looking forward to learing from and sharing with the other members.

Hello, there! I have been using the site as a price guild before I 'officially' joined it. So far I have posted some comments and just figured I haven't introduced myself yet. As we all sit in front of our computer, I figure it doesn't really matter where we are physically. Rather, it's just another node on the Internet network. I'm American but live and work overseas in a little (but extremely densely populated) country called Bangladesh with my family. I'm a nerd through and through, into comics, gaming ummmmm.... Texas Hold 'Em Poker, ****** Scale model trains (selling those off though), juggling, euro board games, etc. etc. etc. Too many hobbies. So, here comes a new one I guess. I promised the wife I'd take 'er slow this time and so far so good. I haven't bought a comic book in 6 weeks now! I'm so proud. Hello! I forget what site linked me to this but I am happy I found it. My name is Thomas and I am from Vancouver, Canada but I ship everything to Washington to save money. I am more interested in displaying my Lego than investing in it but the resources here are incredible, especially for a novice like myself. Of course, if I hadn't spent $1600 in the last 7 months on SNES games from my childhood, there would be more Lego money to go around. Thanks for all the information here!

You know, windmills, red light district, wooden shoes, and the old prime minister looks like Harry Potter.. I was a big Lego fan from 1981 untill 1992, but then it was time to go to the high school (or what's it named) at an age of 11 and all the Lego disappeared in boxes. I had entered my dark ages.. Hi all Joined the site and been lurking since early this year and making my first post. 44 year old dad of 2 young sons that walked into a Lego store for first time in March and saw a display of the SSD. WOW!!! I had no idea and I was hooked. Love the Star Wars UCS sets. Since that first visit I have purchased the the UCS X wing, 2 B Wings, General Grievous UCS, and some other smaller sets. Eyeing a couple SSD's for my next purchase.

Hi guys, I found this site 3 days ago and is such a nice place, it took me hours to get trough it but is at much fun as lego! Actually I thought I was supersmart last years to buy a chunk of Tower Bridges , Modelars etc to sell them in some years but after I found this site I understand that this Legoivesting is a science on its own. Hello, Just recently started back into Legos after going to legoland with the kids. They handed out Minifigs as prizes for the halloween costumes for the kids and thats what all started it for me. Now we have a small collection but we work on it each weekend and also go out to the Lego Shop in Downtown disney. This site has given me very valuable information and I hope to become a part of the community. Thank you, Travis

I enjoyed playing with Legos as a kid, I'm now 35, and after about a 10 year gap in collecting and building with Legos, I've started to recollect Legos to pass down to my son when he gets older. I have started to collect the train sets, modular buildings, as well as the new city sets. -Ben

Just joined - just ordered a couple of Lego advent calendars from Amazon and my interest in Lego was piqued again. I have several models in the attic from the late 60's (unboxed - mum made me throw the boxes away !!) complete with instructions etc Loved putting them together back in the day and I always looked forwards to my Granddad going on holiday as I always got a Lego model when he returned. My son wasn't really all that interested in Lego (he's 15 now) so I never really bothered with it either. However, we got him a Lego advent calendar last year and he loved it.
