Forgive me if I missed this but I haven't been too active on the board. I thought I read something that we can't use rewards points online for Lego? Am I completely misinformed? I am about to print out some points and was going to use them for a set. Please set me straight

Hi, I have a lot of TRU Reward to burn. 2 or 3 of $200 Rewards. I am thinking anything other than LEGO I can buy to use those rewards fast. I was thinking to get the iPad Pro, but it's not out yet. So, any suggestions? Or anyone interested to get them for 10% off.

I'm out of town on business, and the local ToysRus has a ton of great sets....Helms Deep, 4 Vampyre Castles, numerous retired sets. But, they are all so far over retail. I've never seen anything like it. HD is $149.99. Vampyre Castle is $119. Hoth Echo Base is $119. Lone Ranger Train is $109. Uruk-Hai Army is $49 I realize why this store has just about everything still on the shelf. Just trying to figure out how to get them for less.

I am trying to pay online with the TRU CC and it keeps on giving me an "error" stating "please enter name" There is no place to put a name when you hit edit for the credit card. Just a spot for the security code. Anyone have any idea on what they want. The TRU site always seems to be an issue with me. Tried different browsers too.

Is there anyway to use the rewards points online in conjunction with another tru sale? I cannot get both to stack. I was thinking of calling an order in to see if I can get the current promotion and some rewards points to work. Anybody try this?

To all, I am planning on buying some exclusives this saturday. Does anyone know through experience if the CC opening discount of 15% plus the saturday discount of 10% count towards Exclusives. Orthanc, SSD, Ewok village etc. If so then that is about 25% off these sets up to the credit limit.

So today I decided to venture over to to the TRU National Headquarters which is located in Wayne, NJ. My mom and I have friends who work there and I live less than 10 minutes away from it. I went in and asked to see a person who I know and I also asked about Legos. Turns out they keep a bunch of TRU exclusives and various other sets there and a lot of the employees are Lego fanatics. Now that TRU has dropped many exclusive prices back to MSRP, I'm thinking of using some gift cards to purchase some -- any discount is better than none. I have zero experience with TRU online order shipments. I've seen the pics on this forum and wondered what are people's experiences with the larger sets -- pet shop, town hall, tower bridge, etc...? If I have to return a number of sets to the store multiple times, the gas/time is going to nullify the savings. Also, I know that they tend to fill orders from in-store stock when they can. Not sure if anyone has had this problem before, but I tried to purchase two Elsa Snow Glow at tru.com with a gift card back in November, and used a gift card. when i checked out, the website took me right back to the Cart page, and no order number was ever generated. To my horror, the exact amount of purchase has been deducted from the gift card. Called customer service and the CSR verified my claim when she looked up the gift card info because there was no transaction attached to the debit. A complaint was opened. Three calls later, they were still "working" on it. Filed a dispute with Better Business Bereau on Dec 7, Toys R Us ignored it and never answered whatsoe…

Picked up a logging truck in store, everything looked fine but I got home and it had been opened.... It looks like everything is still there in sealed bags... Whats their return policy on opened Legos? I'd like to swap it out since my plan was to keep it on the shelf for a while

So my TRU is insane. Just stuck out the new Ninjago sets for later this year, 70727 and 70728. 70727 is not that great but the 70728, battle for Ninjago city is just stellar. Along with this the WHOLE Ultra Agents theme is out on the shelves in droves at retail. So my thoughts are, as most of these aren't slated to come out until August, I should be buying everyone I find right? Turboflipping? Speaking of that, the Ultra Agents sets look really impressive. Loving the mobile command center.

I bought a LOTR set today but I bought it online instead of in the store. The reason I bought it online is because in the store they put those stupid spider wraps around the box which dings it up. My question is has anybody ordered online from Toys R Us and we're ok with their packaging? Are the sets they send to you from a store or warehouse.If it was from a store than it probably was spider wrapped. I just want a nice clean box.
