I received a couple of hobbit sets that were damaged. I sent an email to tru stating the boxes were damaged. I received this response: "Thank you for contacting the "R" Us family! We are sorry that some items in your order arrived slightly crushed and damaged looking. We will request a credit, but we do need additional information. Which items were crushed/damaged. This credit will be processed within 2-3 business days to your original method of payment, at which time you will receive an email at confirming the credit. You may return this item to your local store or back to our warehouse for a refund. If you would like to return the item to your local store, …

Sunday I went to ToysRus and saw they had the bogo 50% off deal. Saw they had a ton of Batcaves too! They were for $90 though. Today I check the same store for store pickup on the website and it says they have none in stock. Pretty sure with the amount they had, that they didn't sell them all. I will go later tonight, but it seems they removed this product from online inventory probrably during the sale.

I purchased a BOGO 50% this weekend online Farnsworth House was $60 and the Seaside House was $50 promo marked down to $25 Total $85 that I used $50 in coinstar money towards and $35 on Paypal. Newb here and looked but did not see this but when I purchase BOGO in the store the discount is split between the two items. It was not online the discount was all on the SH. So I figured I would see what I would get on a return of the FH tonight. I got the full $60 on a gift card. I even asked the associate and she said it was because I used paypal? Is this normal and if so why not just buy and return one all the time, morals, they can ban you, or am I missing something? …

Before my TRU ban and the need to create a new account, I could not log in and review my past orders. It got progressively worse the longer I had the account. I attributed it to old servers running in a 1970's era IT facility somewhere in a back corner of TRU HQ. After many minutes following my login credentials, the server would error out. After my new account was created, my order review is much quicker and I can actually look at my past orders from the new account. So, it turns out you can fill an account with so many orders that it will timeout the query. Might be a good idea when you change your clocks and the batteries in your smoke alarms, tha…

https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/toys-r-us-coming-back-to-open-holiday-pop-up-shops-in-600-kroger-stores/ The article says its "toys from some of Toys R Us' former private labels, including Zone, Imaginarium, Journey Girls, Edu Science, You & Me, and Just Like Home". But Kroger already stocked Lego for the holidays, so it will be interesting to see if Kroger ups the amount they order this year.

These were 12.49$ for most people, in store only. Anyway, I have picked up about 15 of them and since they are sold out everywhere, they are selling like crazy on Ebay. Sold 12 now for $32 each. After fees, making about $14 on each. Not bad so far. If you have some, now may be the time to sell - doubt they are retired.

two things. 1. I got the tru card today as they told me it was free. I am not referring to the credit card. Just the regular here ya go card that scans when you make a purchase. I searched the forums didn't see my answer. My question is what do I get? I'm assuming just random coupons as I am on a mailing list? 2. I have 90.00 in the gift cards they gave out today. I will not use them and if anyone would like them just private message me. I will sell them to you for a steal. Feel free to low ball me. Thanks.

I am new on this site and to Lego investing. I have recently been buying multiple clearance sets from TRU online and in store. The majority of my orders were cancelled online as a guy phoned me up and explained that they don't let you buy items to sell on. I explained that I was building an army with the figures, but they all got cancelled other than 1. They are also very inquisitive when I buy in store, so am worked they are going to tell me I can't buy any more. How has anyone got around this problem?

Hey all, My apologies if this has been addressed a hundred times before - I'm a TRU noob. I am trying to find out if TLG exclusives (modulars, Arkham Asylums, Star Wars $200-$400 sets, etc.) are carried, typically, by some or most TRU Brick and Mortar stores (not online). I stopped by my local TRU yesterday and found nuthin'. Also, does TRU.com price match, or is that only available in the physical stores? Thanks! Remember, it's always okay to point and laugh at me if the information is staring right at me!

Over the summer, 8-13% discount gift cards were pretty common. Sometimes hardly worth buying in advance - wait until you're in the store and figure out how much you'll spend, then buy on the app. The last few months, % discount has been pretty low, 1-3%, and sometimes none available. I see they're creeping back up now, 4-6% range, saw a few 10% yesterday. Anybody been tracking the Raise cards long enough to identify seasonality / cyclical trends? I don't need data, just looking for insights. Mostly curious if we'll get back to plentiful 10+% discount. They sure do stack nice with a 20% coupon and 10% CC.
