My store has 12 of them in stock, should I get them today with the $20 off coupon? They are marked up to $45 so I basically be paying retail for these, are they for sure an investment winner or not? I have no interest in them for my own part but folks on here seem to go nuts over this set.

I don't know if somebody has already posted it or if anybody care but most lego sets online at TRU are on sale and you can also get an extra 15% off your order with the promo code. "Save15". I'm fairly new to this site and figured I would let you know. Sorry if this is already been mentioned.

When I started seriously investing in Legos my trips to TRU became more and more frequent and so did my anger and frustration with their pricing. TRU seems less like a toy store and more like and an airport gift shop. I mean does anyone there know what they charge EVERYWHERE OUTSIDE OF THEIR STORES???? With the internet so readily available and even the average consumers becoming ninja-like in their ability to find the cheapest prices how can a bunch of suits sit around in an office and think they can get away with marking up their prices sooooooooooooooo much??? So my TRU is insane. Just stuck out the new Ninjago sets for later this year, 70727 and 70728. 70727 is not that great but the 70728, battle for Ninjago city is just stellar. Along with this the WHOLE Ultra Agents theme is out on the shelves in droves at retail. So my thoughts are, as most of these aren't slated to come out until August, I should be buying everyone I find right? Turboflipping? Speaking of that, the Ultra Agents sets look really impressive. Loving the mobile command center.

I am in Virginia from now until late next week. Went to a couple of TRU's tonight. They had all of the new City and Castle sets, and I was surprised to see that they already have the new LOTR sets. The LOTR Pirate Ship set is really cool looking. So is the new Coast Guard boat. Of course the prices were outrageous. I went to the one in Fair Lakes and it's one of the ones that has even extreme prices for TRU. The one in Manassas was a little better, but still the prices were outrageous. I did grab a couple of things on the BOGO but had a few TRU $5 off coupons so the price ended up being way below retail.

Hi all, I have placed 2 orders for TRU under their latest deal. My credit card has been charged, yet I haven't received a confirmation email for either. Neither order show up on my account. I have sent off an email, but have heard that TRU are useless with their customer service. Is the lack of confirmation email a regular occurance, or just likely due to the high volume of sales with this deal? Thanks

I received an email ad from TRU that they are having a one day sale of the Lego Creator Fierce Flyer 31004 and Super Racer 31002 marked down to $9 each, limit four. The sale is for this Saturday. August 3, 2013. The original MSRP of each is $14.99. In store only.

Now that TRU has dropped many exclusive prices back to MSRP, I'm thinking of using some gift cards to purchase some -- any discount is better than none. I have zero experience with TRU online order shipments. I've seen the pics on this forum and wondered what are people's experiences with the larger sets -- pet shop, town hall, tower bridge, etc...? If I have to return a number of sets to the store multiple times, the gas/time is going to nullify the savings. Also, I know that they tend to fill orders from in-store stock when they can. two things. 1. I got the tru card today as they told me it was free. I am not referring to the credit card. Just the regular here ya go card that scans when you make a purchase. I searched the forums didn't see my answer. My question is what do I get? I'm assuming just random coupons as I am on a mailing list? 2. I have 90.00 in the gift cards they gave out today. I started this discussion in the daily deals forum today but finally found the right forum for it.. I tried returning some lego i bought at a higher price earlier (with receipt and within their 90 day window). When the associate rings up the return, the register spits out a message saying "customer's return limit has been reached." He said he's never seen this on a "with receipt" purchase, although he's seen it on people without receipt trying to use an ID card to return. Bought a couple of sets from the TRU ebay store a few weeks ago. One of them came in with damaged box. Normally in such case with a TRU.com purchase I'll just return to the local store, but I'm not sure whether local store can handle return for purchase from their ebay store. Anyone has experience? How do they do refund since I paid via paypal? Thanks!

Is there anyway to use the rewards points online in conjunction with another tru sale? I cannot get both to stack. I was thinking of calling an order in to see if I can get the current promotion and some rewards points to work. Anybody try this?

Forgive me if I missed this but I haven't been too active on the board. I thought I read something that we can't use rewards points online for Lego? Am I completely misinformed? I am about to print out some points and was going to use them for a set. Please set me straight

I have had great packaging w TRU but the more expensive the set, the worse shape they are upon arrival. The top is the original and the bottom is the replacement. ..not sure which is worse. I cannot even fathom why someone would even waste the time to ship it in the first place.

Before my TRU ban and the need to create a new account, I could not log in and review my past orders. It got progressively worse the longer I had the account. I attributed it to old servers running in a 1970's era IT facility somewhere in a back corner of TRU HQ. After many minutes following my login credentials, the server would error out. After my new account was created, my order review is much quicker and I can actually look at my past orders from the new account.
