Check out my Black Friday shipments of Helm's Deep from TRU: All boxes crushed, a few with holes in them, one box's seals totally popped off. After opening the shipping box up completely it was easy to see why this damage may have occurred - the box chosen to package the items was completely too large for the sets, leaving a large amount of space for them to move and be damaged during transit. More surprising to me was the fact that there was absolutely no packing material placed into the box to buffer and keep the packages from moving about. Does Toys R Us jack up the prices of Lego sets before they run this Buy one Get one Half off? It sounds too good to be true.

I purchased a BOGO 50% this weekend online Farnsworth House was $60 and the Seaside House was $50 promo marked down to $25 Total $85 that I used $50 in coinstar money towards and $35 on Paypal. Newb here and looked but did not see this but when I purchase BOGO in the store the discount is split between the two items. It was not online the discount was all on the SH. So I figured I would see what I would get on a return of the FH tonight. I got the full $60 on a gift card. I even asked the associate and she said it was because I used paypal? So I recently bought toys r us/ babies r us gift cards, to use on online purchases with deals like the current BOGO, the gift cards had a little more value then what I had purchase them for, so I would be saving I thought in the long run. I have tried 3 times to place orders twice on sunday and once today, the orders do not go through. The transaction amount is decucted from the balance but no receipt of purchases. They call this Ghost order or Ghosting. I feel like they are defrauding me. I used internet explorer on sunday and chrome today. I get absolutely full signal in Walmart, Target, Kmart, Kohls, malls, pretty much everywhere...and at all of their locations I visit...save this sub forums namesake. Well I went to the Lego Store at Annapolis Mall in Md today, got there about 10:30 so I ran across the street at the Toys R Us to see what the $25 off Lego Sale looked like, Well I was shocked check out some of these prices of these Lego sets, The Manager said all these prices were done 10 days ago. Now if you scanned them it took $25 off, 1-jabba's Palace $164.99 2-Malevolence $164.99 3-Vampire's Castle $131.99 4-Falcon 7965- $179.99 5-Helm's Deep $154.99 6-Ninjago 9450 Epic Dragon -$164.99 7-Volkswagon Camper -$149.99 8-Batman 6860 Cave-$99.99 9-Friends Olivia's House $99.99 10-Friends 3185 Summer Camp $149.99 And the List can go on and on.

So I have been trying to personally collect the Master Builder sets and when I saw that they were listing at 50% off, I was stoked. Drove out to the closest TRU and they were at full price, no big deal, I'd just keep checking and cross my fingers. There were like 3 to 4 of each. As the visits continued and the price never dropped, they started disappearing left and right. Has anyone else seen this done at their TRU stores for CMFs? Wth?

I have gathered that TRU coupons are sent, seemingly randomly, by mail to members, but I'm wondering what I can do with the codes posted in the Daily Deals thread. I'm assuming I can't just walk into my TRU with the codes written on them and use them. Or can I?

I was just wondering if anyone might know when the next TRU bogo sale might be. I know they run these quite frequently, but I can't remember when the last one was. I would like to stock up on dolphin cruisers and heartlake highs to flip this xmas. I think both will be hot sellers and one of those items that retailers won't be able to keep in stock this holiday season. the current retail on both at TRU is only $5 above "normal" retail everywhere else, so assuming they don't jack the prices up by 20-$30, these could be obtained at a good price for holiday flipping.

To all, I am planning on buying some exclusives this saturday. Does anyone know through experience if the CC opening discount of 15% plus the saturday discount of 10% count towards Exclusives. Orthanc, SSD, Ewok village etc. If so then that is about 25% off these sets up to the credit limit.

Sunday I went to ToysRus and saw they had the bogo 50% off deal. Saw they had a ton of Batcaves too! They were for $90 though. Today I check the same store for store pickup on the website and it says they have none in stock. Pretty sure with the amount they had, that they didn't sell them all. I will go later tonight, but it seems they removed this product from online inventory probrably during the sale.

I have a $10 off coupon that I want to use in tandem with a price match. I know there is another post that discusses whether they will do this for Target/Walmart (seemed split), but I wondered if TRU would match an Amazon listing. Anyone with experience on this?
