Hello Pickers... I need your help. Are there any savvy Amazon users out there? Here's the deal... My job gives merit awards, that are amazon gift cards. Awesome right? Well when I add them to my Amazon account, I can often get upwards to $150 worth. Which is great. I ordered an AA a few weeks ago. Now, that set is $200 on Amazon, a good $40-50 over retail. Which is not so cool. There are a number of other sets I'm interested in, but don't want to have to pay over retail even if these are merit awards and not money coming out of my pocket. Looks like Amazon is starting to have some sales on sets that look to be coming to an end soon. I have been waiting for this set to go on sale at a decent price so I scooped this one up. Next up on my want list is the Monster Laboratory.

Hey, hopefully someone could help me. A Lego log cabin came in the mail today; however, I've never had a package damaged as badly as this from amazon. Despite the perfect packaging (best I've ever gotten from amazon), they shipped me an item with a hole it the middle of the box! I don't want to return it since I wanted to keep one to build. How do I go around getting a partial refund?

Just received the following email from Amazon. Seems to basically mean that if you aren't already an established seller (and not using their FBA service) from before Sept 19th (a month ago), you won't be able to sell Toys & Games during the holiday season (until after the first week of Jan 2014), so if you were thinking of just selling sets for the holiday rush, you are essentially SOL. Seems like something to cut down on purely seasonal sellers (like Minecraft only last year) and/or scammers, etc. who don't have any actual stock. Any other FBA sellers had anything crazy happen with their inventory? Before Christmas they added 6 units of lost unexpected gathering to my account (which I never sent). About a month ago I woke up to 95 AT-TEs in my inventory..... I contacted them and explained the "issue" they removed a few and said the rest were mine however they appreciate my honesty in the regard. Today they have "software corrected" some of my inventory and removed items which I actually sent them. I'm not going to throw a fit obviously, but it seems strange. After weeks of nothing, I just noticed two LEGO items in my Quick Picks. Nothing I am going to jump on but I hope the trend continues and we start to finally see some things worth buying.

As the title says, can anyone shed some light on why Amazon.com can ship some Lego sets internationally but not others. The same goes for Amazon.FR/DE/ES. Strange. Just curious.

Well I have a dilemma on my hands. My amazon quick picks just put 10240 Red 5 in my box at 5% off. I know its not a lot $189 vs $199 but it is a deal for a UCS which doesn't go on sale any more. But it has just been released and has a long life ahead. I'm very tempted but its just not that good of a deal. Thoughts?
