Recently I bought lots that had sets that had been partially opened. Some of the bags had been opened but others were still sealed. How would you go about selling those? Would you assemble what was loose and leave the rest in the bags and sell it that way or would you open everything and build it to sell as used? Previously I had a set like this that I did the first method, but I don't know what is the best way. Which method makes the most sense and makes it easiest to sell? Honestly I am not too thrilled with the idea of busting open all the remaining bags to the10188 just to try to sell it as used, but I will if that's the best method.

Hi, I'm interested to find out if there are any Lego wholesale suppliers out there and how do these arrangements usually work? Cheers

I've been listing Lego again on Ebay trying to sell out my collection for financial reasons. I was contacted by a person wanting to buy everything I had listed so far (about 20 sets) and everything else I have (about 80 more sets). He said we could do the transaction through a paypal invoice. He has been a member of Ebay since 2013 with 100% feedback. In his message his emailis different from user name. It ends with Uptown trades out of Brooklyn New York. Would you do this deal? I would have to ship everything.

  5. Greetings! When using an auction-style listing on eBay should I make the starting price the shipping price plus one dollar and put free shipping or start the auction at ($$$) and state the shipping price. Any advice would be wonderful. Edward

  6. I have a 10937 missing the large #1 bag. Other things are all sealed in the original bags, including the instructions and plates. The box itself is damaged so I just put everything in a brown box. In the link below there is pictures showing all the contents. There are supposed to be 2 bags numbered #1. The big one is missing. https://comunidade0937.com/forum/index.php?topic=12431.0 A complete set on amazon is about $260. Any suggestion on where and how much I should sell it for?

What database program do you use to track your inventory? Have you found any that can use/scan the UPC codes to automatically insert data?

Do you use the Global Shipping Program on Ebay to ship international? What has been your experience?

  11. First time posting, but I have been lurking for a while now. I recently re fell in love with legos after building the Saturn V rocket. I was so amazed at the build and how every thing went together so perfectly. I immediately wanted to display it in my Man cave. After I did I started thinking about my other cool things I wanted to display. My collection of 100 amiibos that were just sitting in a bag came to mind. The rocket takes up a lot of room and I was wondering how I could display the rocket and all my Amiibos on the same shelf. I decided to build a 3-foot bridge that would go over my Saturn V. So far I have built a 2 level bridge and I have one more level to…

Hi All, Couldn't find a post relating to this so I thought I would start one (sorry if this isn't the right forum, it was either this one or the Odds & Ends...). Anyway, back when I started buying sets for my son (self!), I was cutting out pictures from the boxes to decorate the walls in his room. He loved it, and it was a great way to sort of hang onto the boxes without them taking up space. But the wall soon ran out of space, and so I have accumulated a collection of around maybe 30 or so (some essentially mint, others a little dinged) that I can't bear to simply toss out. I have tried to keep them as undamaged as possible - most dents were present at…

Hello, I'm in possession of lego system sets from 1950/60s and would like to know if anyone have any information about these sets(valuation, rarity, intersted lego enthusiasts etc.) that would be great, because I'm looking for the best market to sell them. Also they are in great shape, see it yourself.

LEGO Shop at Home is unavailable, so I figure a major update to the site is coming... What's your take on it, will we be able to execute complicated tasks of sorting from high- to low-priced items this time around? :-)

Hi everyone, I have been slowly but successfully selling for a few years. With a new job and new baby this year though I don't have as much time as I'd like to list and pack sets. I'm thinking of finding a buyer for a bunch of sets at once. Where is the best place to post to see if any Brickpickers are interested? Thanks!

I sold a set today for over $100 to a buyer that has feedback from the past, but nothing in the past year and a half. I have sent a follow up email and tried calling. Would you guys wait to hear back at a minimum before shipping or would you send anyway as I have to mail within 1 day? I don't see any issues as it appears the account has been active for a decade but don't think I am able to confirm their address has never been changed? Perhaps I should call Ebay customer support to confirm this. Thanks

I've been collecting LEGOs for around 10 years now, and I think it's finally time for me to sell them. I made a spreadsheet with all of the sets I have and their retail prices. It came out to be $4,500. I'm wondering how I could go about selling all of these. - They are all in large tubs, not assembled or sorted. - I probably only have 95% of the pieces of all of these sets. How would I go about selling these in bulk, and how much do you think I could get for them? Thank you, - brjedi

  19. A while back in the UK deals thread there was a lot of talk regarding income tax / VAT etc so I thought it would be a good idea if we had a thread dedicated to it. As the majority of people on this forum are from North America, and they have totally different rules / regulations to tax etc we can keep this thread for UK only. It seems like ebay are now clamping down on the masses of Chinese sellers who undercut all the UK sellers and not pay any tax / VAT: ***VAT compliance for overseas sellers*** 09 November, 2016 | 01:34PM GMT Hello, Earlier this year, the UK government announced new measures to tackle the non-payment of VAT…

I just started getting ready to sell used Lego parts on Bricklink. It's very time consuming sorting everything out. Bought a 1kg bag on eBay and also my own unused parts. Any shortcut ideas? Who else does this? Any feedback would be great. I guess it gets quicker when my itinerary gets larger!

So I screwed up taping my label to my padded envelope and now need to reprint it. I expected to be able to do this from my paypal activity page but I don't see any links that allow me to reprint the label. This is for a trade so no money was exchanged. Never mind. Option was in the email.

  22. So I recently purchased a large set (42055 - Bucket Wheel Excavator) from Target clearance section. Came home and clearly the box had been opened so I needed to inventory. Double checked the quantities of numbered bags and accounted for everything, all numbered bags, instructions, motorized parts. Everything was sealed except for the motor / switch board piece and ONE numbered bag. The numbered bag that was opened has a slight cut up at the top so there were a few loose pieces in the box that had fallen out of the bag. I highly doubt I had found them all...and I'm sure there is ONE missing or something. So question is, how do I sell this... will all the bags sea…

  23. Dear fellow BP, I'd like to ask for your help please :-) I want to sell my LEGO 10188 Death Star (totally new unopened in its shipping box!) via ebay.com The problem is: Even though the item is located in the U.S. I have no clue about shipping there! (Because I'm from germany and have no clue about U.S. shipping ;-) ). I already googled and tried to compare but it just makes no sense to me whatsoever. But I'm sure there are people here who already have successfully sold and shipped their UCS Death Stars via ebay.com right? So please lend me a helping hand. What's the best way to ship it? What shoul I write in ebay and what price to select f…

  25. I've recently been granted my sales tax certificate for resale so that I can purchase items without paying sales tax. I've found that there are some stores that this is a great savings and/or avoidance of headaches, but not all stores accept it. Here's the list that I currently have of stores that have accepted my tax certificate: Walmart Amazon Best Buy Here's the list that I've tried and they just give me funny looks (they're used to seeing educational/non-profit tax exempt forms, but not resale) Toys R Us Target Barnes & Noble KMart Does anyone else have experience with this that could add to the list or make s…
