Once you've engaged in a conversation, what do you do/say in order to land a better price? I'm ok in my approach. I have found an actual government agency that investigates all internet crimes, it is an internet crime complaint center that combines resources of the FBI and National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), from what I can tell, they actually pursue internet crime activity unlike your typical police department. I was really dreading the loss of tax free shopping at amzn that happened a few days ago in my state...as we reliably have a monthly spend with them of 1.5k or so. We bought everything...even some foods and loved prices and prime. Well son wanted swap force...and we spoil him absurdly...so wanted to buy it for him now instead of Santa. Looked locally on phone as we were heading to stores and it was 75 everywhere...65 on amzn....but now with tax and 2 days. Went to tgt as I had 6 of those $10 cards from lego buys. So passwords aren't working this morning at all (even though I have the correct one). Password recovery is not even though the correct email is there. I can't log in from anywhere at all. About to call them about it but I was going to see if anyone else was having the same problem this morning.

I’m new here. I have a THE Lego fish sculpture that was displayed for years at Disney Marketplace in Orlando Florida. I bought it at a garage sale about 9 or 10 years ago because it was too cool to pass up. It needs to find a new home. Does anyone know how much it might be worth and where I can advertise it? I’d like for it to find a home with someone who will truly appreciate its uniqueness. It is about 4 feet long and weighs around 150 pounds so shipping might be an issue. I think it would be a shame to post it on local Craigslist, but unless I can find a better venue that’s where it will end up.

Hi, I'm trying to buy some power functions parts, specially the 8884 IR receiver, but Lego LEGO Shop at Home doesn't allow me to buy in the quantities that I need. Because I don't live in the US, Lego education doesn't ship to me. Do you know any stores that sell the power functions line without restrictions in their quantities and at reasonable prices? They are usually made up of 3 or more sets and can be from the same Lego theme, or multiple themes. Feel free to list some lot deals that you find for the Brickpicker members... Please remember that a lot of these are auctions and they won't be available forever. Their prices might go beyond the 'good deal' point also. I have been shipping with USPS for 95% of the time. Now Stamps.com had UPS now, and the shipping cost is a lot cheaper than USPS from east to west. So I love the stamps.com insurance. But now if I switch to UPS, they dont have insurance. Only declared value. So, for the seller that use UPS/Fedex a lot to sell high value lego, do you put more on the declare value. UPS said declared value not insurance. So, do you have to buy insurance from third party? What's your advise on declare value and insurance. Thank you

If it works so, the money I receive will be re-invested into Lego which I can once again sell and expand my inventory. Anyone here shipped to Russia lately? I had a buyer for two Harry Potter sets, but eBay won't let me print the label. Might be an issue with the address. Anyone run into issues shipping there due to how the addresses are structured, or could it be something else? USPS.com won't let me print the label there either. I am worried the shipping is going to be way more than what they paid (and I am wondering how eBay came up with the estimate since they won't let me print).

Recently, I bought a ucs set from a seller on ebay. It cost me almost 500 dollars. He shipped it usps priority mail with a tracking number, which i checked twice a day, of course. Everything looked good until it said out for delivery, and i waited, and it never arrived, and then it said package delivered. Well, long story short, the idiot mailman delivered it to the wrong address. My neighbor is an honest and decent fellow, so he brought it to me. Two days after the usps claimed i received it on my front porch. Now, what happens next time they screw up, and my other neighbor decides to keep my lego set? Is the seller going to refund my money?
