Anyone ever get this message? "PayPal Shipping is not available. We apologize for the inconvenience". I just tried to print a label and I got the above message.

I was just curious where everyone goes on the weekend to shop for Lego? You might go out and look or look online. Where do you shop for Lego on the weekend?

Most of my interest is in the hard to find sets (Technic Porsche, Ghostbuster's Firehouse, Volkswagen T1, etc), but I have a really hard time finding these on sale. Is this normal? Do these sets ever go on sale like the others? I find that even at EOL they still aren't often marked down. Am I missing the deals, or do they not occur?

I've gotten back in the game over the last month and have been stocking up and getting ready to sell. Last night I inventoried my boxed sets and got them priced in my BL store. Once I get the open sets verified I will list those and open the store. Then the tedious task of inventory and listing loose parts. Sadly my BL inventory was wiped out because of 180+ days of inactivity. My wife asked what I plan on doing with the money I get. I think she thinks that this is a one off deal. What I would really like to do is get a nice streamline store going. Nothing crazy but something fun to occupy my down time. My inventory is all over the place as it was mostly sets…

I have a sealed case of Series 3 CMFs I've been trying to sell with no luck. If I even do sell it, after fees and tracked, insured shipping (at least $40 from canada to the U.S), my profit is going to be less than I hoped for. Would I be better to crack it open and sell them individually or as sets of 16? How many sets of 16 could I expect to get out of a case? 2? 3? My buy-in price was about $200 CAD, including tax and shipping.

This is for current sets, not anything close to EOL. I am curious, at what point do you pull the trigger and buy the set? For me, I normally don't see anything go lower than 20% (unless I find "special offers" - like Amazon signup bonus), so right now my trigger is 20% off MSRP. Should I be aiming for better price? (Assume this is mainly for large sets.. like modular building sets, UCS sets, etc, if this makes a difference)

OK, at the risk of repeating a topic (sorry Alcarin) as I think this has been discussed before. And I suspect the answer will be subjective

My mate has made a purchase and the seller stated their location as UK. He paid and estimated delivery date is 29th Dec. He tried contacting the seller but no response. Checking on tracking brings him to the Japanese eBay site and an error message. Can someone advise of action to take and how long he has to cancel the order?

has anyone sold any items on bricklink, any suggestions while creating my own seller account? For me bricklink seems more attractive place to future sell my items than ebay as it only takes around 3% of your money rather than 10%.

I've been collecting LEGOs for around 10 years now, and I think it's finally time for me to sell them. I made a spreadsheet with all of the sets I have and their retail prices. It came out to be $4,500. I'm wondering how I could go about selling all of these. - They are all in large tubs, not assembled or sorted. - I probably only have 95% of the pieces of all of these sets. How would I go about selling these in bulk, and how much do you think I could get for them? Thank you, - brjedi

LEGO Shop at Home is unavailable, so I figure a major update to the site is coming... What's your take on it, will we be able to execute complicated tasks of sorting from high- to low-priced items this time around? :-)

So I have had a couple people ask me - my store is currently on vacation. I am not - just contemplating what I want to do from here. A lot of the time and stress from a store is wearing me down and so I wanted to take a couple of weeks break to re-evaluate what I do, how I do it, and make it better and more manageable. Some people mentioned label printers earlier in another thread and I was intrigued. Looks like a good idea. Basically, from what I can tell, printers are thermal - no ink or toner. You just buy the label paper. You have to get the right ones for certain labels - still working on that info. Anyway - if you have one of these, please share yo…

What are they worth do you think? I really want one for the Missus. Sadly I didn't get one as a newer VIP member. Here are some ebay listings to watch: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=Lego+4644591&_sacat=0&_odkw=4644591&_osacat=0&_from=R40

Hey, I got a pretty ridiculous deal the other day. It occured to me it was a scam but the seller had 145 positive feedbacks. Can you fake that easily? Is it something I should look out for? Oh also if you get a tracking number is it definite you will receive the item or no. I know these might be stupid questions so sorry.

Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere - I did try search function, strangely nothing came up for "netbricks" (I haven't tried "Pley" yet. So those are services that rents out LEGO sets. I have dozens of Friends theme sets (used). All pieces are put back into ziplocks, and they then are put back into box among with instruction booklets (which I see is mentioned as a requirement on Netbricks). And the Netbricks FAQ also says I can ship my sets to them for free? I think this might be the way to go for me - anyone have good/bad experiences doing this? The reason why I'm considering this is I find putting sets up on auctions (taking photos, creating …

A few years ago I got me some LOTR sets from Argos in the UK. When I collected a couple had, in my opinion, been tampered with (the man who served me said that sometime people want to look in the box!). Of the two I ended up getting I've just gone to get one out to photo and have noticed the security seals at all corners have 'slipped', i.e you can see where the original glue was. The most one has moved is about 2mm longways, the others are less than 1mm. One has moved a little sideways as well, just noticeable but still 1mm or less. So....... We're these tampered with like the others were or is this something that happens over time, I can't notice on any other sets …

I recently received two packages of retired sets via UPS from two separate stores, and the shipping boxes and sets within suffered from significant damage. So I started a claims process and was wondering how long the whole process is going to take. And if I'd receive the items back if the claims were rejected since I read that UPS has a stringent claims policy.

Hi everyone! Yesterday I was replying to a thread on what sets did I purchased previously and that had deep remorse for. Then that set me thinking, there are quite a number of sets I purchased with no regrets but I wished I hadnt open them and built them bcos they are worth a lot now!!! Here are some of my biggest regrets: 1) Queens Anne revenge, I bought only 1 box bcos I only started collecting Lego then and didnt think much of it. Now it sits on my bed headboard, pretty awesome pc but I wished I had kept it in the box considering I bght it at retail for SGD $190 and its worth ard $500 over here now. 2) Ninjago Fortress 2505, OMG this one... it saddens me e…
