Long story short... I just had my LEGO account frozen and reinstated by the LEGO Sales Support Team for a LEGO set I bought off of EBAY months ago. The item came directly from LEGO.com. LEGO discovered that this set was drop shipped by a crooked seller on EBAY. I had to provide proof that the set was bought on EBAY and that I wasn't the thief using a stolen credit card. The LEGO Sales Support staff was very helpful and I spoke with them for awhile about the issue. Basically, it is a huge issue and buyers need to be aware of the situation. LEGO is working on stopping 3rd party sales, if it hasn't already. They want the buyers to take notice of where the LEGO se…

So, I have reached a point where I believe it is necessary to invest some money on a thermal label printer. So far I have been using Avery shipping labels, but I figure I can buy a printer for a good enough price that will end up saving me some money in the future. I am looking for something under $100 that's reliable and works seamlessly with eBay and Paypal. I have not started researching yet, so I figured I would ask those that have been selling for a long time if they have any particular tips.

I would like to prepare some sets for shipping, and it turns out that the USPS game board box would be quite good, but of course sending it via priority flat would also be too expensive. So my question is now: where would you go for the following: - box size: ideal: 22x12x3, also ok (more common): 24x12x4 - low quantity: I really only need 6, not the 25 that most online stores have as minimum quantity. I don't have the space to store 19 boxes I really don't need. The local office stores I went to don't seem to have this size available. Thanks in advance - and please no suggestions of covering up the USPS box and sending it regular priority. That is a…

Great site that I stumbled on and searching for some guidance. My boys are now grown and our collection of Lego's over the years has overgrown their playroom. Since the wife wants the playroom converted to something else the judge has decided the Lego's must go. I've cataloged what sets we own. Have manuals for all of them and a few boxes. All of them are used as they wanted to put them together. Part of me says sort into sets and sell. I sorted 1 and changed my mind! Assuming I have 95% of the pieces across the 200+ sets where many are likely full sets. What's the best way to potentially sell all of these in bulk? Appreciate any ad…

Any seasoned sellers have any go-to sources they use for shipping boxes? Anything you have consistently used in terms of price effective yet quality boxes?

I've got a collection on of futuron sets. 13 used sets, 3 have boxes (cosmic laser launcher, interplanetary rover, and Stardefender 200), the rest are complete with instructions. I've had a lot of offers, most is in 200 range. I bought this on cl for 70. The highest offer I've gotten is 275... Should I accept and sell? I used lot calculator that puts this lot at about 320 so it's not too far off. Here is a pic:

I spoke with someone who is willing to let me sell his Lego for a cut of the profit. about 100 minifigs and some boxed sets. Anyone done this before? What is a reasonable % for me to get for selling and shipping for him?

People seem to complain about Lego prices all the time. This is especially true in some countries where the prices can get pretty outrageous like Australia. In other countries Lego has very limited availability. I know a lot of people think the U.S. has it best when it comes to Lego due to the cheaper prices on sets and wide availability, but what benefits do other countries have? Are they actually better? For instance in the U.K. they seem to have relatively equal pricing to the U.S. (for the most part, on non-licensed themes..), but then they have the free Lego polybag give away with the news paper. Half a pound for a Lego set that should cost $4? Yes please! Mean…

Hello, First off, if this post is not permitted on the forums, just delete it. Often I find myself browsing US online stores and always being surprised about how good you have it in the US with the price of Lego. Many of these stores don't ship to Australia and one of those is the Lego US store which is probably the worst due to its strict policy on Freight Forwarders. I am willing pay for this service say $10 per package forwarded, and even a little more if you went to local retailer and purchased a set and shipped it to Australia. Obviously there are issues of trust. So I'm looking for someone who is fairly trusted on these forums, good ebay feedbac…

http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=1593-1 http://brickset.com/sets/1593-1/Super-Model-Building-Instructions I have collected the bits for one of these from my left over stock. Its made from the parts from 6929 & 6880. Building it, it looks absolute rubbish, I would say it looks like its been designed by a child, but that insults many children. The Brickset reviews also give it a pasting. Looking at the sold listings on ebay it may go for

If you have a Fry's near you, it's worth checking out their Lego isle. I stopped in tonight and swooped up 3 Vampire Hearses for 24.99, and 3 Mad scientist sets for 39.99. No GT's or VC's though... Nothing mind blowing, but cheaper than Amazon right right now if you don't want to risk waiting for them to go on clearance somewhere or don't get clearance sales. I'm hoping the hearse will be one of the better performing small sets from MF after EOL. It's a cool little set. As a side note, they also had one city set 4441 so I picked it up too. Retail price of course, but all the forest city stuff seems to be doing quite well. Wish I picked up more robber's hideouts…

Ok - I just started LEGO investing. I have done research and read the many brickvesting articles on this website. I have only purchased complete sets so far. There are so many seasoned investors, sellers and flippers on this website that I have learned a great deal from and hopefully one day - I won't feel like such an amateur. So here I go - another question from the amateur for the many seasoned investors/sellers/flippers out there - where does one begin the LEGO minifigure collection? Which ones should be purchased first? Which ones are easy to flip? Finally, which ones should be bought and held for the long-term? Thanks for all the help.

I recently found an add on Craigslist and had about $400 to spend. I believe I hit the motherlode! It is about 50lbs and they were all sorted by color. I looked up a couple of the set numbers and was able to find instructions online and so far the sets are complete. The most interesting one is what looks to be a complete train set with a lot of track which was not shown on the pictures! I think the hardest part is going to be seperating everything but it is enough to warrant several bins/drawers. Does $400 seem reasonable for this lot? Its crazy how many pieces came with it including tons of 6X6, 6X8 and 6X10 plates, there are also several 6X12s. I cant wait to have some …

So I have only been selling for a few months on eBay, mostly smaller things to learn, build feedback and polish my processes. So far I have done pretty good but one thing is becoming clear. Between shipping labels and packing slips one prints alot of paper. Currently I have a kodak inkjet printer and it works fine and cartridges are reasonable but have a smaller capacity. I am getting about 100 pages per cartridge at about 12 bucks a cartridge. So I find myself eying a laser jet printer as they can do give or take 5000 pages on a 50 dollar toner cartridge. The con is the much higher entry cost of the printer vs one I already have. But in the long run they are…

Here's the deal. I can get a discount on the following sets (I won't go into details) and am looking for one FOR A PERSONAL BUILD and would like suggestions, particularly if you have built one. I will still get any Lego promos, so May 4th promos are worth considering. Discount is based on my cost in Canadian dollars from US LEGO Shop at Home, after tax, compared to buying from Canada LEGO Shop at Home, after tax (including exchange rate). Fairground Mixer - 25% Detective's Office - 27% off Slave 1, Tie Fighter, Kwik-E-Mart - 20% off Tower Bridge (although I never bought one at 150US so why buy one now) - 32% off Sea Cow - 26% off Sandcrawler - 22% off Sydney Ope…

Hi, I was wondering how anyone here feels about how best to manage one's available time when it comes to finding deals on legos, or any products really, in the multitude of online or offline stores you can visit. I've noticed people here talk about major clearances people have found at their local stores, but from what I understand I'm not guaranteed to find the same great deal at my local walmart or target etc. that you did at yours while a link to a great deal on Amazon will work for virtually anyone who sees it assuming the deal is still going on. I don't really have a reason to go out to retail stores for any other reason, so there's a good chance I could go out to…

Do most use Priority as it seems almost the same if not a little cheaper when shipping ? Small items excluded. I'm shipping a Cloud Cookoo and Priority is cheaper than Parcel Post. Thanks

Hope this is ok to post here, feel free to move if needed. Purchased a #75192 MF from Blinq a little while ago. Due to our recent move hadn't really looked at it much other then to glance over it at receipt. LEGO box was in good shape, seals were open as was listed, boxes inside were mint, bags inside boxes were sealed. Just went to get it out and look it over better and all the guts (bags/instructions/decals) were fake Chinese knockoffs! I'm just over the 30 day easy return period and Blinq doesn't have a phone or chat service! Just sent an email so we will see how they respond or when but I'm thinking of doing a chargeback as well just in case they don't r…
