In the UK, furniture retailer DFS have a “save our butts”-themed ad campaign featuring the film’s main cast. There’s a Lego DFS employee in the ad, and adverts all over the stores. Have I missed something, or is that all the tie-in is? No little exclusive set for a minimum purchase or anything like that? Seems very strange if there’s not at least some employee-only minifig. https://m.dfs.co.uk/content/campaign

I'm rather new in the Lego world, but I read that Lego is a possible good investment. I have a couple of unsealed boxes that may be interesting to sell in the near future. I have only one problem, I have no idea where to sell those boxes. Are there specialised sites to sell your Lego boxes? Greatings, Günther

There is clearly a disproportionate amount of British (Paris and US) themed sets of iconic structures than the rest of the world...but it seems pretty blatant for the rest of Europe considering Lego's homebase. Anyone have insights to why this is? There are such incredible castles, buildings, skylines, and ofcourse historical monuments all over Europe and it's baffling to me why the representation is so uneven.

My friend and I came up with an idea to help LEGO investors, and make investing easier, in the words of my friend. The overall concept is to have everything in one place, buying, selling, all the online stores, and portfolios, for example. You would have a portfolio of all your LEGO sets, like the one on BrickPicker, and each (day) it would update to the latest price, to get a more accurate portfolio. It would also have a daily chart for each LEGO set showing the price for about 5 years. It would be like a stock chart. And instead of the stock ticker, it would be the set number! Then if you want to purchase the set, you go to the trade tab, and pick one of…

I got the Duplo Toolo RC Dozer 2949 in a lot I bought from eBay, but it unfortunately didn't come with any instructions. I put in fresh batteries, but I can't get it to work. Do I need to sync the controller with the base? Any help would be appreciated. This looks like a lot of fun if I can get it to work.

Hey guys! I've found a guy selling a few of his legos for about 250 cad and I was wondering if it's worth it. He's got the sets: 8961, 7743, 7287, 8077, 2260, 8078, 8864, 2263, 9446 and 6175. None of these are in boxes. He's missing the 1st instruction book for 8864 and the one for 6175. Also, he's got a broken rotating piece on 8961. is it worth it? I've used the lot calculator but the price given to me doesn't include the broken pieces and missing instructions so I thought some of you guys could help . Thanks Narkk

Hello, I'm waiting to hear back from ITD orders for approval. But I have a few questions for anyone who's had an ITD account: 1. How much do they discount the sets? 10%, 15%, 40%? 2. Is there a minimum order quantity? 3. How long does an order take to arrive? 4. What are the buying requirements when purchasing sets? 5. Can I buy a few sets of a certain theme, and a few sets from other themes? Or just one or two themes? 6. Is there a yearly minimum order quantity that I have to meet each year? I'm a online subscription business, and I would use ITD for my inventory. I would be shipping LEGO sets every month to my subscribers. …

I have some old Legos of my husband’s. I saw a blue brick with LL 928 on it. There is also a spaceman minifig. Not sure how much more of that set is in the box. I was planning to just sell the bags for a bulk price per pound. Any advice? My 2 photos failed to upload for some reason. Thank you!

Sorry I have had a look through the different sub sections to post in and can't find anywhere to discuss a potential set idea. Anyone think a Game of Thrones lego set theme would be such a lucrative thing for LEGO to do? I can understand the rights may be very expensive but it's such a popular show / book series I think it would be such a big seller for LEGO. What are your thoughts?

Hi, I've been buying and selling toys (including Lego) for several years, but always sealed sets. Well, I bought my first bulk lot from Craigslist this week and I'm not sure if I have something that I could make money on or something that was a waste of money. Hopefully you can help! I'll take pictures tonight, but wanted to get this post up now to see what the initial thoughts are. Total lot was about 40lbs and no minifigures. It was being sold by a mom who's kid(s) wanted to keep the minifigures. She included a bunch of the instruction booklets, but none are mint at all. Many have lots of missing pages, torn pages, etc. It was clearly a collection that kids pl…

Hello all, I am new to this forum, however, not new to the world of F1 or Legos. I am interested in getting the Lego 8458 F1 Technic Car. - I have heard that it's loosely based off of the McLaren MP4/14. - So my question is how would I go about finding or creating custom stickers/decals for this build?

Local LEGO Store added some Halloween themed pieces to the build-a-minifigure bins over the past week. Bats Jack-o-lantern Heads Brooms Heads, Torsos, and Legs below... There was a witch hat hair that I didn’t get this time- had to get extra Jack-o-Lanterns... basically the witch top from CMF line but colored with tan tap and orangish hair... The Vampyre Torso is done in purple. This appears as a new print. Old version was done in maroon. The Bride Toros and Dress is printed in Fuchsia. Old version was done in red...

I can get this for $50. Is there enough flipping value here to make $? I see several Storm Troopers, Chewbacca, C3PO, at least some of a Boba Fett, an Indiana Jones. Other things of good value? All those skeletons are probably nothing. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I would love some help from those more experienced with buying LEGO lots. I found a lot I’m interested in and wanted to check if anyone has an opinion on whether it’s a good deal or not. I have purchased several lots from Craigslist before and usually pay around (or less than) $2 a pound including 1-2 minfigs per pound. This one is hard for me to judge how much is actually here and if it would work out to a good price per pound. I do not resell, it will be kept for personal collection. Listing says that all sets have been broken apart and organized by color and that min figs are included (although I don’t see the minfigs in pictures). Usually I buy bigger bins o…

Hello, I am looking to sell a MISB 60 years anniversary set(the SAH promo in January), and I wondered what was the cheapest(while still safe) way to ship the set. I didn't know whether the flat rate USPS boxes were the way to go, or if UPS could be better. Also, I was planning on putting it up for sale once Christmas gets a little closer. That isn't too early to sell is it? Also, Ebay or Bricklink? I have bought from Bricklink before and like it, but I don't know which is preferable. In short, I am new to the game and trying to figure out where to start.

I have a Lego set that the box is open. Only one of the five factory sealed bags is open. All pieces in that one open bag are accounted for. Since this is not "new" but is closer to new than used, how to price this? Somewhere in between the new and used value? The set is Minecraft 21134.

Hi! I’m looking for advice on how to keep my husband’s LEGO collection safe when we move and then store them at our new home. I saw some people on YouTube say that they wrapped the minifigures in kitchen plastic wrap and then put them in plastic storage bins to keep them from getting scratched up from one another. This seems alright for a few weeks, but the boxes of wrapped minifigures might end up in storage for years depending on if my husband puts them up for display or not. Is there a chance that the wrap could degrade and harm his collection? His legos really make him happy and it would be sad if anything happened to them. The wrap I’ve starte…
