Very nice! When do these X-mas themed creator sets usually hit the shelves? I haven't paid much attention until this past October...

Around October 10th

I read on the September LEGO Shop at Home offers that VIPs will get early access to a holiday set, could it be this one?

It probably is. Lego only has one main holiday set a year.

Seems kinda early for the holiday set, but I just checked Brickset for the WV Cottage and it became available on 10/2012 so it fits the release schedule for WV sets.

I haven't seen any other pics. That one makes the set look really small. I wonder if it will still carry the 99$ price tag. Maybe its bigger than it appears though.

I don't remember where I read this, but I think that the price for the set will be $59 or $69 this year.

Hmm thats quite a drop in price. I wonder why? Maybe didn't sell as many as they wanted to at the higher price?

Current set is still readily available, so that makes sense.

Is it Retired on your LEGO Shop at Home?  I know it's not here, but it might be in Europe.

It'll be interesting as it is marked as 'retired' and was only available from LEGO Shop at Home Spain.

sept is a tad bit early for a winter holiday big set ... might just be a small winter set ... like a sleigh or something ...

It follows the schedule of releases for past WV sets. VIPs will have access during second half of September and everyone else beginning in October.

Just to clarify, I think Lego only releases a NEW holiday set once a year. Often they will carry over a set over multiple years, releasing them only during the holiday season.
