But for some reason, I'm having the worst allergy attack I've ever had in my life. Expand Heard a good tip recently which made perfect sense. If you have allergies/hay fever don't put sheets, towels, clothes etc. on the clothes line, because they get covered in pollen while they're outside and you then either wear it or sleep on a bed of pollen. Not ideal for someone with hay fever anyway. Quote

GiliusThunderhead Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Have to get this off my chest but seeing a set listed on eBay as complete. labfreak7 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I have a dumb@ss buyer that sent me an offer on Sunday night adding " it's for my daughters birthday, it's all I can afford". I accept the offer, and do not get payment until today. Then, she emails me saying that she wants a tracking number otherwise she will buy from somebody else.??? I want so badly to curse her out for about an hour, but I bit my tongue, and have not yet responded. I can see this @ss being a problem for me even after she recieves the item. Times like this that I really hate selling on eBay. Quote

thoroakenfelder Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 2 times in a row, sold an opened Ewok Village on Ebay. First time, I didn't hear from the buyer until after I opened a non payer case, and he assures me that he wants it and will definitely pay for it, just close the non paying bidder case. I advise that I'll keep it open until he pays. He says he'll pay in 8 days. He keeps asking me to close the case. Reluctantly I agree to wait. after that time elapses, I close the case to receive my fees back. Today, a day after the auction closes, I get a message saying that the new winner will pay me in 9 days. Apparently both bidders are having a hard time balancing their bidding with when their credit card payments are due. WTF are you doing spending a couple hundred dollars on LEGO if you need to put it on a credit card that is already maxed? Quote

Phil B Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 So what's up with companies sending me coupons right AFTER I placed an order *sigh* First my daughter spends her hard earned cash in an American Girl doll store 400 miles from us, to come home to a 20% off coupon in the mail (took a bit of back-and-forth on the phone but ultimately a very nice supervisor applied the discount against the policy to her already made purchase after she realized the amount of hassle she was putting us through with their return and exchange process). Then I buy some items on BN.com yesterday, only to get the 15% off 15BNFALL coupon in the mail today. (Ok, I could just repurchase now and then return when I receive the non-discounted one but I purchased with GCs and am in a bit of a cash crunch and want to keep using the GCs - so think I'll return when it arrives, get replacement GCs and then order online with those GCs).
