no, not a wizard. You will build an appreciation for what is and isn't feasible as you progress though. I'm in my final year now and while I recall we had some mathematical subjects in first year (and second?) it wasn't carried through the course.

And rightly so - the maths employed day to day in an architectural practice is well within the capacity of anyone enrolled in a university. Of course higher maths could be employed in the inception and investigation of an architectural concept, but only if you want to!
