February 11, 20169 yr Maybe it was a bad seller as a stand alone set(I doubt it but possible). But I know a way to improve its sales either way - release a base for it to attack! No other logical explanation for retiring the AT-AT other it was a poor seller or a new one is coming out. Who knows...
February 12, 20169 yr Glad that there is no mention of an AT-AT. I might need to keep one to add to this set (need to see pics first of course) I really hope that the set is on par with Ewok Village and the Sandcrawler.

February 12, 20169 yr Umm 75054 didnt get the retired tag like 75055. So could always be a new box. We do like new boxes still don't we? And even if they do retire it just print some more to compliment hoth. It's only a matter of time before they try it on a few larger sets other than seasonal
February 12, 20169 yr I don't own a single Hoth related set (as far as my personal collection is concerned), so I am very excited about finally adding one to my collection!

February 12, 20169 yr Considering this has been done multiple times over I'm guessing most of use would have preferred to see some other scene. Lots of us "new" folk would like a Cloud City (they did the carbon freezing after all).

All I'm going to type is, Like Kenner in the early 1980s, Lego is dropping the ball by not releasing Cloud City stuff. The Freezing Champer set is a joke gone terrible bad. So instead, we finally will get probably decent Hoth set that should be expandable or reconfigurable. Yay.
February 12, 20169 yr It's all going to boil down to what exactly is included in the set. We know there is a snowspeeder, but is it going to be in the same scale as the one that just recently disappeared? I for some reason have my doubts on that. For a 2100 piece set, it would probably be smaller, and if they do include some kind of version of an AT-AT, then you can pretty much figure the rest of the set is going to be sorely lacking. I'm cautiously optimistic about it. If they can include enough detail to tell what it is without having to rely on the vehicles, then I would be ok with it. But, like others, I just have an odd feeling about this set.
February 12, 20169 yr I know its highly unlikely but a micro scale hoth would work. Well for me it would.
