Name That Brick

Post images of pieces that you are trying to identify or images of bulk pieces to determine what treasures may lie within...

  1. Started by S4J,

Anyone recognize this minifig? It's feels familiar to me but I just can't seem to pinpoint who or what it is. I've looked through dozens of pics on brickset and bricklink and nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

was given this by family member and not sure what set it is from. Any ideas?

  3. Started by glostik,

I am putting some sets back together from a bulk lot. I am working on set 4886 right now. Is it possible that there are both 3107 smooth and 3107 rough bricks in it? or should they all be the same? It has a total of 90 of them, but 60 of them are smooth while 30 are rough. I am pretty sure none of the other sets in this lot use this piece.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Thanks!

  5. So she found this lot today for me for $25. I've still got extensive dark ages blind spots, but who can help figure out what instructions I need to start downloading? It came with none. I won't have the bin in hand for a couple weeks, but here's what she sent me. From the minifigs I think I see a Plo Koon droid, Bikini Express spongebob minifigs, not sure if the toy Story figs are polys or sets. Who wants to help/play?

Anybody recognize that viking ship? Been looking on bricklink and haven't seen anything like that. Guy said he will take 150 without the "custom" table---but is firm. He has no books, or boxes...and his son doesn't know what models are there. There are minifigures, but he doesn't have access to camera for a few days. http://nh.craigslist.org/tag/3889874353.html

I collected a lot a bought a few nights back. When I collected the seller dad came out and gave it t me and said, theres 4-5 big sets in there, but my son couldnt be bothered to sort it out. I only payed £30! and it looked to be well over 10kg so was happy. Anyway I'm sorting through it now and have got a bit stuck. I've identified a few sets already 7244 speedboat 3180 Tanker 7744 police station 4997 ferry A few smaller sets as well. Just wondering what that base plate is from (modular?) and also the red roof? Can anyone else spot anything of interest. I'm alread very happy, this was an absolute steal. As always thank you fellow bp's. Your knowledge amazes me.

  8. Hello everyone, I recently brought a big bag of mixed Lego which included about 50-60 mini figures that were all in pieces. I have managed to identify the majority but i need some help with the last few torsos, some legs and a few unique looking heads. I know some look quite old, but i would be grateful for any help. Thanks

Went through my old childhood collection. I was smart enough to put everything with instructions into bags Some did not have the instructions so I took polaroid pictures of each set....However, they came out blurry and I took them apart before the pictures developed. So some help would be appreciated! Thanks! (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6)

  10. I bought a bunch of collectible minifigs on eBay. Everything's be fine except for this piece. Obviously, it's Santa's torso, series 8. But was troubles me is the black marking on the neck. I don't recall seeing this on any of the other collectible minifig torso's. Even bricklink's database shows a torso without this mark. Is this a substituted part? Love to hear your thoughts!

  12. Started by donbee,

Can you identify the thick, large green plates in this lot? And those red, blue and green pod looking things? The neon green one seems to be a different pod as well. Thank you!

Someone on bricks.stackexchange.com bought two of these. Anyone seen these before or knows where they come from? Seems to be a recent product (September 2015), with proper instructions, copyrighted by TLG.

  16. I have some pieces I cannot identify. 1st piece - black decorated slope - 2 wide - 2 high I searched bricklink black- decorated slopes and found nothing for the slope attached. Sorry if the graphic is hard to make out. It's a radar screen with two land masses (in teal) 2nd piece - yellow decorated tiles: Same thing, these weren't under yellow decorate tiles. Look like license plates? 3rd piece - brown map tile I am sure this one is the easiest. Anyways thanks for any help! [emoji4] a

  18. I just recently purchased an Indiana Jones: 7199 Temple of Doom - I received lots of extra pieces. The auction picture looked like this and said there might be a few pieces missing. It was only missing a few, as described and I bought it for $100 after sending him an offer when the original listing ended. Bear with me, this might be lengthy. Assembled I completed the build and I have a few pieces queued up on Bricklink, but I was only missing 5 pieces or so, mainly weapons. Here are the additional pieces. Do you have any ideas to what sets these pieces might go? I know some may go to a 2nd Temple of Doom or an Escape from the Temple, but there's some purple pi…

I see a mini cooper in the box but can't quite tell what that Star Wars looking set may be. Some sort of TIE?

  20. Started by stevez73,

I have searched high and low to find which set this part belongs to. The only markings on it are: 2002 LEGO & F1982. Can anyone identify this? Thank you

  21. Hi everyone, If this post is in the wrong section could someone move it pls I'm new after all. Anyway, as i've just started collecting (investing) in lego, I thought it would be a nice to dig out my old toy box from when I was a kid, go through it and share it all with you. The box weighs around 5kg and contains all of the lego I had as a kid which is late 80's early 90's. I can't remember exactly whats in here so if you see anything you can identify that would be great, I'll try and add images as I go. It shouldn't take that long to sort but maybe there's something cool that I can build again, lets hope all the pieces are there!

  22. I found a handful of these little grey pins in a bulk bin I'm sorting through. I only found this one black piece they connect to and it's marked 45 (as it's a 45 degree angle) I mean, they are garbage to me, but I'm so curious.
