I accidentally posted my message from my sons account. I set up three separate accounts so I could have three separate brickfolios (I didn't see how I could have three on the same account). I have one for myself and one for each of my sons. Is it possible to have more than one on the same account?

Hi everyone! I was absolutely thrilled to come across this site! My boys were very into Legos and my husband and I would keep and store all of the sets once they put them together. We noticed, like most of you, how much some of these older sets were appreciating in value. That's when we started collecting. I used to keep a spreadsheet myself and check ebay once or twice yearly and average the amount of sold sets. This site does this for me and is much more accurate! I feel like I have so much more knowledge now and plan to start selling off more of our sets this year. I only have four years until my first son goes to college, so any profits I make will go into his 529 …

Hi, everybody! In these few days, I am interested in Lego and surf the websites to find out everything about Lego. There are too many themes that I have to look at them one by one, and I have no idea to buy which set that is not expensive, rises in price in future and high in quality. Members, any suggestion.

Hello Everyone! I am new to BrickPicker and a bit of a Lego collector. I have loved Lego since I was a child and still have my old peices and instruction booklets. The investment side of Lego sets and peices has been something I have thought of as interesting before and was delighted to find this site when I did. The site has already been helpfull for me in finding and getting a set I had wanted to get since I was a child this week. I hope to find many more suprises on this amazing site and maybe to learn something new!

Hello, I decided to strat collecting Lego in a serious way. After some searching on the net I found this site. Amazing how many people are "infected" by the Lego virus. I started collecting in 2008, all sets I bought were put together. Space is a problem right now, so if I buy a set now I keep it sealed in the box. Hope to hear from you when you like my collection. I'm also like to trade. Regards, Dave fromHolland

Greeting All! My husband was a major Lego fan as a kid which has left us with many bins full of the wonderful colored little bricks staking claim of our storage area. We are new to Brick Picker, we have added all our collections (that we have sorted) but now we really do not know what we want to do. RIght now, just getting the lay of this website so if anyone has some tips or ideas to help us get acquainted, I would really appreciate it. K

Hello I am very new to this site only finding it a couple of days ago. I am a toy lover and collector in general, but am pretty new to collecting Lego's for the most part. While I do have about 25 sets or so, some of which I do open to mess with, most of my buying has been purely out of resale hopes. I am loving this site for being an invaluable resource to make decisions on buying habits. My funds are limited so I need to buy smartly. After populating a new Brick-folio with what I've collected in the last few years, I'm happy to say I'm well within the black as far a expected profit margins go. See ya

Hi All, I joined Brickpicker mid last year, and am still marvelling at the concept of a proper investment analysis of LEGO sets. I LOVE IT !!. I am about 1 year out of my dark ages, and wish I had gotten there sooner, as there are so many sets I would have liked to get at RRP. Even if that is our bloated prices in Aus... (10188 and 10221 RRP $699 AUD !!! ) Thanks, and look forward to participating in this great community. the minifigbloke, also known as Erin (male, grrrrrr, stupid parents....)

Hello all I have recently been re-introduced back into the world of Lego when i got a Technic set for Christmas and have since gone on to purchase a few more, my favorite being the 8070 Super car. I still have a pretty small Lego collection so far and hope to build on it in the future. I would also like to get into the investment side of Lego and hope i will learn much using this website. Great to be here :)

Hi, i'm new to this buying LEGO for profit game but i'm finding it a enjoyable hobby as well as hopefully making a decent return on my investments in a few years! Lots of great info on this site and i've spent many hours reading on it but i have a couple of questions that i would appreciate your thoughts on. I often hear that i should not buy sets at full retail price however there are many sets that appeal to me that are only available from the LEGO (UK) shop such as the VW Camper Van, Mini Modulars and Haunted House of course so i was wondering should i just pay up and buy what i want knowing it's not going to be cheaper anytime soon or should i just focus on buying …

  16. Hello everyone. I was very excited to find this website. I've been collecting and playing with Legos all my life. I'm 25 now and I still find myself buying sets that I like. I recently bought all The Hobbit sets just to put them together and display them among the books on our bookshelf. I noticed lately that a lot of people were selling individual Minifigures on Amazon.com and decided that it might be a good idea to start investing instead of just buying to play with. So that brings me to this community. I'm hoping to learn from you all and hopefully contribute back in due time. Thanks all - GreenTeaBoy08

  17. Hey guys -- I don't recall how I found your site a few months back, but I have enjoyed the articles about Lego investing. The "private" forum topic restrictions got the better of my curiosity, so I thought I would register and become an "insider". Thanks for starting this site -- it is off to a good start I think... SB

I just stumbled across the site and am very excited about it! I loved Lego as a kid and had a room full of different sets. It has been sitting in boxes in my basement and I just looked through it because I was planning to sell it and wanted to get an idea of what I had. I had no idea the sets are worth so much! I'm reconsidering selling them now of course. I'm sure I'll have many questions as I get familiar with the site but I do have one now: The first set of mine I googled was Lego 5591. I found someone on Amazon asking $650 for a used set with instructions in a zip loc bag (just like mine). But I see on Brick Picker the used price is listed at $93. Why the huge d…

  21. Hi all, Stumbled across this site and it is quite nice. I have about 200 early 1990s sets from my childhood that I'm slowly reassembling with the intent to sell [may keep a few, I have a lot of fond memories but am trying to cut down on my possessions]. Imported data from Brickset, but this set everything to 'NEW'. How can I most easily change 200+ sets to 'USED'? Thanks!

Hello, I have been messing with lego for quite a while, and (like many) after finding out how much people were selling the millennium falcon for on eBay, I decided to do some some investing of my own. I was recommend this site by one of my good friends at the lego store. I have started storing up sets, to sell when I am above my head from college debts I already have three modular building sets (Pet shop, 2x Fire Brigade), and a couple small ones. I am looking forward to getting more and more! I am very thankful that this site exists, In the coming months I will have many many questions. Hopefully I will be able to find some answers here Thanks, Pnatsirt

I regined my interest in LEGO in 2009. Then as a buyer and builder of sets. Since then my interest has also included MOCs, and I have had thoughts of buying and selling to support my hobby. I am still on the fence, I looked at costs, storage, shipping, eBay fees (or other fees) and in order to make any significant income it looks like a full-time hobby of buying and selling. This could also be a fun hobby, just not sure where to go with this yet. For the time being I will purchase multiples and either use or save for later to sell or whatever. I hope thes forum will help my fence sitting one way or he other. Andy

Just joined the other day, so I thought that I'd say hello. I've got the same story to tell as most of you. When my son started to be bought Duplo and then Lego a few years ago, I was taken back to my own childhood, and bought him more than I really should've done. Idle hours spent on Ebay made me realise that I wasn't the only little boy trapped inside a 40 year-old body, and I end up here via BrickLink. I bought a few big sets about 18 months ago with a vague idea that they would pay for my new hobby, not really thinking about which ones to buy, just remembering that as a child I never got the big police station or the Technic Car Chassis. I don't think of myself a…
