Hi anyone care to venture a guess at the value on this custom Lego Colosseum. It's around 24in tall and a little over 45in in diameter. I'm only guessing but I think it weighs around 100lbs. I dont know how many total pieces but it has to be in the tens of thousands. I can count hundreds of pieces just in a small section of the structure. Also included are around 135 roman mini figures. It came from a major movie studio prop department.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums with lego, but I've been a big fan for years, and just now am getting around to online forums related to my hobby. I've been collecting since I was a kid, and now I've turned this into a fun little side hobby of building mocs and taking a lego-ized version of myself around on my travels. If you wanna check it out, here's my facebook and instagram pages. I really look forward to chatting more with everyone! https://www.facebook.com/adventuresoflegojake/ https://www.instagram.com/lego_jake/

Hi! I just wanted to do a quick introduction. My name is Lori and I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to five kids. Our whole family loves LEGOs. I'm glad to have found this place to talk with other LEGO-lovers. I recently started a blog and posting build videos as a project that our whole family can work on. It's been a learning experience, but I love it.

Hello all, some may remember me and many probably will not. But after a long time away I have finally found my way back to the fold. Life happens sometime and work occupies us....that and the sheer upheaval when work tells you to move halfway across the nation . But I am glad to report I am back and life is now somewhat back to normal. Currently working at restarting my eBay store and starting the massive task of trying to catch up on the wide world of LEGO that left me in the dust quick. Anyway, just wanted to jot out a quick note re-introducing myself to the community and saying hi. - Vince

Hello there! I have been the fan of Lego from early childhood, when I built huge towers with 2x4 bricks. Three weeks ago I made my first purchase of Lego for investment purposes after talk with a shop assistant. This idea was initially brought to me by a friend around 3 years ago and kindly fostered after that, but the action took place only now. First purchase consisted of the palace cinema (worn out box, but "the set is rare and will dissapear soon") and the tumbler ("great potential, since it is batman"). The next day I found brickpicker - the tumbler was returned, PC was not increased in volume. I started reading the forum more and more and resulted in buying several …

Hello! I'm new to Brickpicker and Lego investing! I'm a Southern California College student and would love to start off small. I'm thinking of buying a couple Modular Pet Shops to stash away. I would love advice on how to get started on investing! I've gotten scammed trying to sell on EBay and being a seller on online transactions is a bit intimidating to me. I would love to sell over Craigslist or anything in-person or selling at conventions or something! Have a great weekend! Wyatt

Hi everyone. Let me introduce myself. My name is Dewitte and I'm from The Netherlands. A week ago I bought a sliding lid wooden box with a Lego logo on the lid, filled with all kind of Lego stuff. That was the start of a journey (back) into Lego Land. I'm a fairly good internet researcher and soon after the start of my journey I found Brickpicker, Bricklink, Brickset and a whole plethora of other Lego related internet sites. Lego Land was starting to become Lego-Universe, but as vast as it might seem it is a Universe where one is not alone. I never realised that there are so many Lego-Lovers in this world. Lego evolved over the years, that became clear also. There are…

Hello, I'm not really new. Just new to the forums. I have used Brick Picker several times in the past. My favorite LEGO® theme would be MINDSTORMS. I enjoy pushing the limits with the MINDSTORMS. Now, I'm working on creating a giant army of LEGO® terminators.... should be taking over the world any day now. Keep your eyes on the news.... it can happen any day now.... * Mod Edit - a link to his latest project https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj7qGkIdQ4E * Anyway, If you guys want, give me some suggestions for my next video here or better yet on my you tube channel. Two great ideas I have so far are: 1. Death Star with a Working Super Laser 2. Use my Go Pro to crea…

New to collecting/investing. I have a 4-year old son, and he has liked Lego pretty much since he was a baby. This summer, we started buying Star Wars sets and assembling them together. I'm quickly becoming addicted, and I thought investing might also be fun and a way to subsidize this expensive addiction. Right now, I'm focused mainly on Star Wars - there's just so much in that universe, and I'm interested in Star Wars anyway.

So... I never posted in here. As I ended up typing up the story of my bouncing in and out of my dark ages, might as well post here, many months late. Hello! I like Lego sets. I like buying Lego sets. And I REALLY like it when I buy Lego sets that then allow me to make money to buy MORE Lego sets! Reposting from whatever thread I posted this in:From probably age 16 through my military service and 2nd or 3rd year of university I had my first Dark Ages - more than a decade ... I got the 8448 Supercar then sold it a few years later. Many years later bought a Blacktron Battrax as it was one of my favourite sets as a child back in the day. Some years after that, bought and a…
