So.. we are virtually lockd down due to the covid-19 scare. Thus I have also some time to clean out the attic and there is some 70s and 80s lego there. So i put some up for sale, put have no idea what this realistically would be worth. So I figured I would ask if any of you can give an idea what I may expect to get for this stuff. It is generally rails and carriages. But there is also a Box of technical lego (somewehere...). I will add some fotos. Any help is much appreciated Best, Michael

So I'm considering joining FBA for the first time, reviewed their intro emails, etc. and am generally on board but had a question about sending packages to Amazon. They indicate I can choose between having Amazon label the items on receipt, or I can do it myself. Given that I am selling Lego and other toys, I am concerned that many buyers often prefer to receive the toys without any stickers, etc. Does Amazon attach a sticker to the package itself? If so I'd be tempted to send them in already labelled assuming I could bubble wrap the item and then attach the label to that. But would Amazon have issues with that? Just curious what the best practice is for you pros.

I noticed that 40337 -- Mini Gingerbread House -- has a new labeling scheme. The plant/manufacturing code has 5 digits -- mine reads "140R9" But what was interesting (troubling) is that there is a QR code and 6-digit number. The two boxes I received from the brick and mortar store were consecutive numbers as well. I'm not going to give away my numbers, but they were both between 1000 and 2000. I see a listing on ebay right now with a picture showing a number in the 7000's. The B&M stores likely only scan the UPC, but SAH could potentially track the serial number to the order and look carefully at ebay listings. Not sure if this is the new no…

Hope this is ok to post here, feel free to move if needed. Purchased a #75192 MF from Blinq a little while ago. Due to our recent move hadn't really looked at it much other then to glance over it at receipt. LEGO box was in good shape, seals were open as was listed, boxes inside were mint, bags inside boxes were sealed. Just went to get it out and look it over better and all the guts (bags/instructions/decals) were fake Chinese knockoffs! I'm just over the 30 day easy return period and Blinq doesn't have a phone or chat service! Just sent an email so we will see how they respond or when but I'm thinking of doing a chargeback as well just in case they don't r…

Hi Guys Been collecting for several years now , think 2014 I started and wondering if there is a market for bulk buying? so my brickfollio says its value is $86k but I bet I have another 20k or more to add to that as I stopped adding to my brickfollio about 3 years ago, my fault I just got caught up with work and other things and lost track. I have a pretty diverse collection and of course some turkeys too like Tumblers and what not. I understand whoever buys it would be looking to resell it but wonder what sort of price I might get or if I should try sell it individually eBay/Amazon which was my original idea...ahh great plans :-). Not in a major hurry to ge…

  14. I'm a collector in South Florida, you're probably a flipper, so if I'm going to sell it makes sense to sell to you now before the holidays. 112 unique sealed sets. I'll send the excel sheet. Brick has it at $5800 (I paid $6300 in non-retail prices), but at least 20 sets do not have prices. Your offer needs to have a 4 in front of it. Pickup and pay in-person only. There are a few LEGO stores within a few hour radius of me (one just opened yesterday) and I've never visited any of them. Is there any reason to visit one of these for special deals or promotions or anything? Basically, am I missing out on anything other than "the experience" by not going to these stores? Or am I better off just continuing to order everything online? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

Hi BPs, I have a collection of MISB legos that I've collected over the period of around 10 years. Everything is in great shape, sans maybe a few boxes that have dents or dings. I was very selective and usually had a dented box shipped back to LSAH and returned for a good one. Ideally, I'd like to have msrp (I already paid 6% sales tax, which I would'nt be charging for. I realize thats not easy, because someone with a large wallet will need to put up $, and thats why I'm willing to let it go for msrp, currently. I realize there are some good sets and some sets that may take a bit longer to sell, but overall, I think there is decent money to be made. I'd be…

  22. So I know there are other threads floating around about this, but I was curious to get a current pulse check. My gf recently has been showing me the power of Microsoft Access and has built an internal database for her lab. The thing is incredibly powerful and I immediately wondered how well it would work with my lego inventory / collection. Cons of Access for me are 1) having to purchase Office Business and 2) not having a PC so either a) running windows on my mac or b) finding a cheap PC to start this on. My hesitancy is, that is a lot of financial and time investment though on a gamble with access. I currently use Excel to track a lot. I have personal co…

Hi there, i've been checking like sets in the days of avengers tower, first wave of jurassic world etc, in those days, and damn, those set have high resale value now. They is less seller on bricklink or other platform, less people who invest and it's profitable. Better then it was, still some turd of course, but in general, a 2 years old is really great. 2015 sets have done better than older one, (post 2012 maybe).,...
