So I'm considering joining FBA for the first time, reviewed their intro emails, etc. and am generally on board but had a question about sending packages to Amazon. They indicate I can choose between having Amazon label the items on receipt, or I can do it myself. Given that I am selling Lego and other toys, I am concerned that many buyers often prefer to receive the toys without any stickers, etc. Does Amazon attach a sticker to the package itself? If so I'd be tempted to send them in already labelled assuming I could bubble wrap the item and then attach the label to that. But would Amazon have issues with that? Just curious what the best practice is for you pros.

I wouldn't worry too much about stickers and labels. Amazon likes to ship small boxed LEGO sets in bubble mailers so that they arrive to the buyer extra crushed. Amazon likes to ship large and expensive boxed LEGO sets by applying a shipping label directly to the LEGO box to ensure that the collectible LEGO box gets extra trashed. Amazon does not accept responsibility for their terrible shipping practices. Have fun.

Did you get approved to sell Lego?

Appears so. I've been selling them fulfilled by me for years and I have the option of turning all my listings to FBA from what I can see.

Save money and label yourself and use removable stickers.

I second this bit of advice.  Prior to self labeling, the number of items received was regularly less than the items I sent.  Items lost/gone, with no chance of reconciliation.
