There is a lot of good information on here about buying at discounts (Walmart and Target deals) vs retail prices on S&****. At first glance it seems like a no-brainer, but in some cases it may make more sense to buy from S&**** when you factor in the VIP points and the exclusives you get for that month. Hey all. I am looking to buy some elements, mainly technic, for some mocs I am planning on creating. I am looking for power functions, pneumatic, wheels, tires, actuators, suspension, etc. Who are some of your go-to sellers for lego elements at a fair price and on what websites are they located?

This thing won't sell for even 100 euro under the Lego RRP. It is a retired set. People offering it new for 140 euro on BL. I have 3 of them, now priced at a loss for 195 euro. What is with this set that people don't want it?

I have been browsing dutch version of eBay and I have been trying a New Way of searching. I look for sets without numbers or price. This seems to indicate that the seller is not knowing about the value of 1975 lego sets. Some sellers really don't know what they have. Is buying a 140 usd set for 32 usd good or bad ethically ?

Hello everyone, I recently have decided to start purchasing bulk minifigures off of Craigslist. Being a novice LEGO enthusiast, I'm having a problem identifying the minifigures I am purchasing. For instance, I bought around 20 minifigures from someone and from doing a little bit of research, I can tell they are from the early 90's. My problem is that this person has switched the legs, torso's, heads, etc on these figures multiple times and I have no idea what parts go with what figures. Any suggestions on figuring it out? Has anyone had any luck doing a return with Zavvi? My order of of a single 31109 arrived in a thin cardboard box that had seen better days. The set is severely crushed along an entire side and front. One of the seals is ripped open. I decided I'd rather just return it. At first Zavvi wanted to offer me 20% off to keep it, but I declined. Then they sent me a return slipped that marked it as being returned as "unwanted" instead of the "damaged on arrival" option clearly on the slip. Last weekend I picked up a bulk SW lot on CL. Spent the last week running the sets through Bricklink Inventory lists and verifying any missing parts. They're all older SW sets. Included are some of the original micro fighters, called Mini back then. From the sets of instructions, I've got parts of two series, but neither series is complete. I noticed that 40337 -- Mini Gingerbread House -- has a new labeling scheme. The plant/manufacturing code has 5 digits -- mine reads "140R9" But what was interesting (troubling) is that there is a QR code and 6-digit number. The two boxes I received from the brick and mortar store were consecutive numbers as well. I'm not going to give away my numbers, but they were both between 1000 and 2000. I see a listing on ebay right now with a picture showing a number in the 7000's. The B&M stores likely only scan the UPC, but SAH could potentially track the serial number to the order and look carefully at ebay listings. Not sure if this is the new no…

Hello. After recently having a clear out in the house (nightmare!) amongst the crates upon crates of lego i used to own when i was younger I have come across set 6339 space shuttle with launch pad. Now after looking through ebay etc i haven't really had much luck in finding out how much it is worth Everything is in the box as most of it is actually still made up, the instructions are there as well. The box itself has seen slightly better days but is in no way overly damaged or falling apart. Just wondering if anyone here could give me some direction as to how much this is worth as I'd like to sell and give someone else the oppotunity with more time…

Hi, I bought a 100% complete Sandcrawler 10144 and its in great shape. I'm going to tear it down and rebuild it for fun. It is dusty. What is the best method to clean a very dusty lego set. Just a rag, blow air, or put in water individual pieces from large to small if plastic only with no stickers? Want to get it super clean but not harm it. Thanks!

Any suggestions appreciated.... purchased 20+ sets form them in July....arrived 2 Months later TRASHED. Sent them photos before I even opened the box to show how damaged it was, then photos of the individually trashed sets...like ripped boxes smashed in areas. They wouldnt even work with me until I went to post office three times and finally got someone to fill out a damaged item form as they wouldnt take my word or the photo history. May be something others already know, but if giving a refund through paypal and you don't have a balance, Paypal doesn't front the money. they contact your bank and it will usually take several days. Many of you may already know this. You also cannot cancel it once it happens. I have never had a problem before. I was trying to refund someone yesterday and it is pending until thursday and though I now have money in my account, nothing can be done paypal said. Luckily it was so we could cancel a transaction and repurchase so my ebay buyer is cool. But I wanted to alert anyone who had to give a refund to an Ebay buyer. Does anyone know where to find the ASIN number for individual LEGO minifigs?

I am having a weird problem printing labels through paypal. When I print a label, my printer uses 3 sheets of paper to print one label. The first sheet is blank, the second has the label, and the third sheet has a line printed at the bottom. Has anyone had any similar printing problems. This started happening several months ago. Any suggestions?

I just wanted to share an idea with adding pull out drawers with stack on's on them to my current storage shelves. Before I made the shelf unit I could only fit 2 stack on's per shelf now I I can do 4. It cost me $17 for the 2 sets of full extension drawer guides and all the lumber I had in my garage. I took a few hours over a couple days to build. Next time I build them I will make the base a little bit more narrow.

I don't collect mini figs but I've noticed many posts here about how hard it is to find the series 9 figures. Today while looking for other sets, I found 24 packages of mini figs. With the sale and some other discounts I get, they came out to $2.50 a piece. my family tried to feel around for the mermaid, which was pretty obvious, but I'm wondering if other members here are looking for any particular pieces or just want blind unsearched (except for a mermaid) bags.
