Good morning, I am new to this site and I am looking for some advice. I have a very large collection of Legos that I am slowly moving out of storage and would like to sell them in bulk. Growing up I had a double deck lego city 16" x 16" up top and 20" x 16" below, entire city was built on roadplates and baseplates - bottom city had multiple trains. Rough Guess is around 500-700 pounds AT LEAST, right now I have (15) Blue Lego Bins full with legos, and then (12) 30 Gallon tubs filled with legos. . Most of the sets are from 1985-2000 and 95% have at least one copy of the instruction manual. I had sets from every genre, and when I was able I would buy the entire catal…

Hi guys, I want your opinion. There is a guy on Bricklink selling some old sets I want complete with boxes for a resonable price. Catch is he has zero feedback. Looking around at his store nothing else really throws any red flags up nevertheless the feedback(or lack of it ) concerns me. Does paypal offer protection if it is not an ebay transaction? keen to hear what others think..........

I rarely ask for advice on buying Lego, but today I got $75 worth of rewards Coupons from Toys R Us, And they are 3-$15, and 3-$10 ones. They say Valid in store or online through 5/31/13 and I can use them all at one time, or split them up. Now some may say how did I get so much, well I spent a few grand a while back, when I got 20 Friends 3185, etc. Now I could get 2 of the 8110 buy one get one half price and use the $75 coupon, so get both for $260.00, or 4 Vampires Castle for $76.00 each, Or 4 Helm's Deep for $92 each any other suggestions. I've asked a few people on BL where they get such a massive inventory from and no one will share their supplier (as expected). Does anyone know where these sellers are getting their 500+ minifigure inventories from? For example, one guy was selling 500 Michaelangelos, and not to leave out his 100+ inventories of other minifigures from Hobbit and Superheroes. Does anyone know?

I have 2 coupons for Barnes & Noble online for 15% off one item that expire today. For some reason I am unable to use them through my account. I have had problems with my account/membership so who knows it that is why. If anyone wants them go ahead try them. M9BA326GB1A5K P7NVCQP4ZWWBA

So, lets pretend here for just a moment that one of the members here has a wife that is simply wonderful and wanted to surprise her husband with a birthday gift of a Lego Technic Unimog to have for himself. Let us also pretend that this item arrived from Lego with a different person's payment info on the invoice and that, upon inquiry, said wife purchased the item for cheap from ebay. Not that any of this has nor will ever happen to one of the members here, but just roll with me ok? Now, in that unfortunate event, what exactly would one say to the offending seller? Yeah, the person would want to send a well worded message saying you %$#@*@% pig! How could you do this?!…

I have a 10% off LEGO store coupon from the new catalog that I'm not gonna use. Its good until 4/15 first person to respond gets it. I will mail it to you for free. No catch I am just not gonna use it, I was gonna use it to get a SSD but my Lego stores don't carry them anymore and the coupon needs has to be used in store.

We brought this up in another thread and realized that not many people probably know about this so I figured I would make a dedicated post for it. The usual fee for processing your transactions on PayPal is 2.9%. If you process more than $3000 per month you can apply for a lower rate of 2.5% and if you do more than $10,000 per month in sales you can get a 2.2% rate. The application for upgrading takes less than a minute. Here is some more info: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/merchant-fees

I ordered something on bricklink March 6 from England it, and says it has shipped but i still haven't received it yet. I don't know how much it weighed but it was $5.50 for shipping. How long does it usually take for something to get to the U.S. from England?

So I went on bricklink and wanted to buy some more jet packs for my clones, found a guy that had ten for $.99 a piece so I ordered them. Well, they came yesterday and I was really excited about this, (I LOVE jet packs) but when I opened them up everything seemed normal until I compared it with another jet pack I had got in a set and the one I order was just a tad bit different, I looked on the back for the piece ID number and "The Lego group" thingy but neither of them were there. I emailed the guy and he wrote back saying that he had bought these off Bricklink a long time ago and that he didn't know about them being customs, but if I sent them back he would give me a ful…

As someone that's a little more interested in building than investing, I decided to take the Craigslist plunge a couple weeks back and finally saw a listing I was compelled to buy, a kid selling a 25 pound tub of assorted pieces for 100 bucks. The transaction was a good experience (rare for CL), apparently there was another buyer but they backed out. The seller was a kid who had been collecting probably since the early 2000's judging by the pieces, looked to be about 14 or so, and was trying to get money to get himself a Nintendo 3DS, so it felt like I was helping him out. As far as the pieces themselves, it wasn't too bad. They were clean for the most part, there…

I'm not sure if there is anything worthwhile since they really raised their prices in the last week (TRU watch out) but I thought I would post this for anyone interested. You can save $10 off $50 by using the code SPRING10 at checkout. This coupon code is good through March 30. If they have another sale that overlaps this then you may be able to find some good deals otherwise I'm not sure but happy hunting.

http://www.mrxgames.com/lego/ All signs point to drop shipping, buyers beware! Seller has products listed consistently below retail ....Check Seller has no interest in charging for shipping fees....Check Seller doesn't seem doesn't speak English as for the primary Language with which to....Check Maybe there is more to it, but those are the warning signs for me

My wife and I have been putting all of our sets together lately and building a giant 5x10 foot city display. We still have about 6 sets or so to put together and then we are going to be building our own creations to fill in the gaps. I have been looking on eBay for bulk Lego listings. It looks like they are usually around $10/pound. It seems a bit expensive. Does anyone know what is a good per pound price for bulk Lego pieces? Also does anyone know a good place to download instructions for custom buildings like the following ones? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Corner-Cafe-Building-Instruction-10185-10182-10185-10197-10211-10218-10232-/251231411526?pt=Building_Toys_U…

I listed an couple eBay auctions of a parted out 2012 Advent Calendar. I decided to be a rebel and start the bidding at $0.01 as an experiment. Little did I know that it draws people so well!! Listing #1: 3 watchers, 5 bids Listing #2: 2 watchers, 1 bid Listing #3: 6 watchers, 3 bids Listing #4: 2 watchers, 3 bids Listing #5: 3 watchers, 5 bids These are the results of the listings thus far and they have been posted for less than 24 hours! I am sure that many of you already use this method, but for those of you who do not, give this a try for the next time you list something. Attracts bidders and watchers like poop attracts flies!

Hi, Anyone have any tips on cheap international shipping for larger lego sets from the UK. I have lots of large sets that I will probably sell in the future on ebay but the international postage/shipping costs seem prohibitively expensive and therefore limiting my market. Any advice or people with experience would be appreciated? Also for those of you in USA, Australia, or continental Europe, what would you pay for shipping and still be happy with the price? (Use 2507 Ninjago Fire Temple or 9468 Vampyre Castle as an example) thanks.

Just wanted to you know that the unimog that I originally thought might be from a scamming illegal drop shipper arrived yesterday. It indeed was NOT a drop shipped item, the seller however fabricated his shipping box out of a few much smaller boxes and taped up the seams as best he could, but a few were wide open when the item arrived. I want to be clear here, this is not one of those shipping nightmares where the lego box has been punctured or crushed, however, due to some of the edges being exposed, it did arrived pretty frayed and was not something I would have bought in a store. The seller in this case has over 1000 feedback and 100% positive, so he must do somet…

Hi, I am looking for a US Wholesale Lego distributor, able to ship 3-4000$ worth of Lego for every shipping to Europe, Slovenja. Can you provide this service? Can you tell me the price including delivery to Slovenja (probably Trieste in Italy is the nearest Harbour and/or international airport) ? The reason is I am looking for Lego not distributed in Europe. best regards, M needless to say I'm not interested but I have never dealt with spam on bricklinks so I was a little taken back.
