(if this isn't posted in the proper forum, sorry!...not a clue where else this should go) ===== Once per year I, along with a handful of others, gather various toys, etc. for local children's hospitals, programs, etc. We do not get paid for any of this and all of our time is donated. However, they do allocate certain funds each year for various products. I have been asked to get "as much jungle sets as possible" and the funds I have left for this fiscal year is 400. Boxes can be damaged but bags must be sealed. I have to use these funds by 7/30 or it goes back into the fund pool. I'm in no way looking for a handout but probably can't go paying crazy pre…

Hi all, I am new to this site, and I've never sold Lego before, but I have a decent sized collection with minifigs and a rare set and I'd like to know what the community thinks it's worth. Also, should I sell them all together or sell the bulk separately? What's the best strategy? I was thinking all together for $1000 but could be way off in either direction. Also how much should I value the Yoda at? Let me know what you think, thank you! Here's what I've got: Many retired sets, including the rare Star Wars Yoda, set #7194-1. Nothing newer than 2002 or so, some much older. Lots of Star Wars, aquanauts, police, firefighters, pirates, space shuttle, and lots of …

So the results are in! I bought a DYMO 450. Super easy to get going and set up with labels for USPS. I cannot believe I ever used a freaking printer. This thing is INSANE! I thought I could also give people a little insight into my methods too. Feel free to suggest your improvements! So here are some starting points - I am all about efficiency when working so I do a lot of timing myself and taking statistics. So here you go: I ship an average of 12 things a weekday - about 20 for the full weekend or more. Most of these are minifigures and parted out sets or used sets I sell without the box. I use USPS for the majority of shipments obviously - first class. M…

I would like to sell my box of Legoland 6374 . The box has never been opened and the outer covering is still sealed. This Lego is even blistered (see photos) It is an unique collectorsitem. Is anyone interested in buying this set and how much would you pay for it? Keep in mind that it is a collectorsitem and there are only 2 to be found on the internet in this condition! Kind regards!

Sorry I tried to search "ebay" and "paypaI" in search box but no results. I sold a set on ebay (internationally) two days ago, and I saw that ebay and paypal buyer's adress are different. He doesn't reply to my messages on any of the email adress (I already had problems with people of the same country, it took me 1 week to have an answer so now I'm anticipating). Where am I supposed to ship the item to have paypal insurance ? Ebay or Paypal ? I fear that if I ship to his ebay adress, and it's not the good one, the package may be lost and I could do nothing. On the other hand, if the paypal adress isn't his actual adress, he may agrue that I did not s…

A small padded envelope I sent to another trader is showing "Undeliverable as Addressed". Anyone seen this before. Before the tracking showed this it was "Out for Delivery" to the correct location. Does this mean the mailmen just decided not to deliver the package?

Are there any good deals at Shopko? Has anyone shopped at Shopko before? If so, do they have a small or big selection of Lego? Any clearance? I bought Lego from TRU and Target last week, so I thought I would try somewhere else to buy Lego. thanks.

HOORAY!! i just sold my last Portal of Atlantis set from the Atlantis line. i think I may throw a party! i can finally wash my hands of that dog of a theme. it was quite a blemish on my brickfolio. i was sitting on six of those bad boys and it took almost two years to find six buyers. i wound up making about $20 each after costs. thankfully my entry point was low. good riddance!

Hi all, Ive bought a couple of 42009s to sell in the future. They are pretty cheap in the uk at the moment. If I sell these unopened boxes in a year or 2 and the buyer finds out that the electric motor doesn't function or similar, I guess I have to take that hit and refund his money? I would assume the warranty for lego is only a year from purchase and its with me. Or would you open up the box now and check the motor works while the item is still under warranty? The set would then have been opened and I guess not so attractive to a buyer. What do people normally do? Cheers Bryn

You may have seen on TV or sometimes when you're surfing the web, ads for sites like QuiBids.com or Beezid.com. If not, then put simply these penny auction sites promote themselves as giving people the ability to bid on a brand new item straight from the manufacturer's warehouse and in the end the winner pays insanely little for said item, like say getting an iPad for $24. When that is very VERY far from the truth. The way how these sites work is every time you click on the bid button for an item, you bid one cent. There is no way to change your bid amount at all, this is set in stone. And for every penny you bid with, they charge 60 cents up to a dollar to your credit c…

My wife and I have been putting all of our sets together lately and building a giant 5x10 foot city display. We still have about 6 sets or so to put together and then we are going to be building our own creations to fill in the gaps. I have been looking on eBay for bulk Lego listings. It looks like they are usually around $10/pound. It seems a bit expensive. Does anyone know what is a good per pound price for bulk Lego pieces? Also does anyone know a good place to download instructions for custom buildings like the following ones? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Corner-Cafe-Building-Instruction-10185-10182-10185-10197-10211-10218-10232-/251231411526?pt=Building_Toys_U…

I know we have a bunch of full time Ebayers here so my question is this? What is the best time of the day or night to have your auction end? I think I know the obvious answer but I am open to different opinions. Thanks for any help as I am a fairly new eBay seller (52 feedbacks).

I picked up a couple 40220 - Mini London Bus over the weekend that I was hoping to flip on Bricklink, but apparently the set is still pending approval. I'm relatively new to this, so I've never watched for a brand new set on Bricklink before. How long does it usually take for them to approve the set so I can list my items?
