Some of you might remember I posted this Summer about selling off a 1,000+ collection of Lego to raise money for a new home purchase. I input everything into Brickfolio and discovered I had 1,098 sets valued at $55k. I started selling the sets selectively on Craigslist and Amazon and raised about $16-18k over the last month and then came into my warehouse this morning only to discover that most of my remaining sets have been stolen. The Sheriff's department just left, but it is pretty obvious the suspects knew what they were looking for, they took some sets and left others. They hauled out a couple hundred sets and even stole two moving dollies in the process.…

I just received my largest Brickowl quote request and wanted to get advice before submitted the quote. The order is from a new user in China, requesting a 13440 parts (not sets) totaling over $1800USD. I'm a bit hesitant since this is a new user (18 hour old account) and for an order that's going to take me 3-4 hours to pack and put me out a lot of $$ if things go south. I believe I can get insurance to cover that amount, but I can't give the buyer any idea on import fees, which I know are high in China. Any suggestions based on past experiences from the group? It's a 24lb box that's $124 USD to ship before insurance...

http://www.mrxgames.com/lego/ All signs point to drop shipping, buyers beware! Seller has products listed consistently below retail ....Check Seller has no interest in charging for shipping fees....Check Seller doesn't seem doesn't speak English as for the primary Language with which to....Check Maybe there is more to it, but those are the warning signs for me

Hello Everyone, This is my very first post and I'm reaching out because I need a little help. I just acquired a sealed mint LEGO 1068 Air Patrol Extreme Team (1999) set and I'm trying to assess a value. I have searched everywhere. I have found plenty of used sets with no box ranging from $2 to $10, but no sets new in a factory sealed box. The only pricing information I have come across is actually on this site has an American value of $295. I have reached out to the creators of BrickPicker with no luck of a response. Can anyone confirm the value and/or have some sort of history information pertaining to this set? Rick

Newish to Lego (big thanks to the kids), and I was wondering what recentish sets have larger animals. Kids want to make a zoo. Thoughts so far are: Friends pets and line: plenty of little pets Prince of Persia had camels and ostriches Atlantis has plenty of underwater animals City theme w farm had some barnyard animals What am I missing that is probably obvious to you?

For anyone who is interested I was forced by my wife to go to Tuesday Morning today and was shocked to see a bunch of Lone Ranger sets, Silver Mine was $39.99, also had Colby City, don't remember the price. They also had a bunch of small friends sets for $6.99 and an entire end cap of Hero Factory for 6.99. Not great pricing, but if you missed out on the Silver Mine or Colby City it's not that bad.

So tonight I did something I told myself I would never do...buying a bulk listing off Craigslist. 2-3 times a week I'll scroll through CL, offerup, letgo, etc to see if there is any deals or anything worth while. I've bought a few sets off offerup/Letgo with overall success from my reason used Tumbler for 160 or the UCS AT-ST for 120. I've always looked over the "bulk/lot/Lego by the pound" post for the thought of going through all the sets gave me shivers down my spine. Despite that feeling I came across a deal I didn't want to pass up. I bought roughly 130 sets for 700 dollars tonight. Sets from all different themes (mainly city and SW) from Detective office to Kwik E…

I wanted to know how to become a licensed seller of Lego products and get the order form some people on this site have. I've been incorporated for the last 2 years and wanted to expand to selling Legos at a retail level. Any info from people who do this is much appreciated

Hi, I've really enjoyed reading this forum over the last month and appreciated the insight. I've certainly got carried away at times in the early days of investing having read some of the advice in the forums. However, I occassionally notice a post that says something doesn't really apply to Europe, e.g the popularity of a certain line, or where is good for selling, or the time it takes for items to increase in value. So as a lot of the advice is written with north america in mind, I thought it would be really useful to hear from those based in the UK and Europe. - What are the main differences for our market to the US - What sort of discout and ROI do you usually aim for…

Long story short... I just had my LEGO account frozen and reinstated by the LEGO Sales Support Team for a LEGO set I bought off of EBAY months ago. The item came directly from LEGO.com. LEGO discovered that this set was drop shipped by a crooked seller on EBAY. I had to provide proof that the set was bought on EBAY and that I wasn't the thief using a stolen credit card. The LEGO Sales Support staff was very helpful and I spoke with them for awhile about the issue. Basically, it is a huge issue and buyers need to be aware of the situation. LEGO is working on stopping 3rd party sales, if it hasn't already. They want the buyers to take notice of where the LEGO se…

One place where this forum seems to be lacking is there are very few posts about current Lego deals and sales. I usually have to visit other forums to find this information. Maybe we can change that by keeping this topic going. Here are some recent finds. Ninjago 9450 Epic Dragon Battle for $110.58 (8% off) at Amazon right now. http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Ninjago-9450-Dragon-Battle/dp/B007Q0ON7S?SubscriptionId=AKIAJ7T5BOVUVRD2EFYQ&tag=camels-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B007Q0ON7S

I'm curious to see everyone's perspective on long term potential of Lego Dimensions Starter Sets All formats, as well story, level, and team packs. Anyone buying and keeping for long term or selling now. I picked up a big lot of them a while back and making money on them just wondering if I should keep raising the price or leave them at current levels since it looks like i'm the only one left with any stock now. I'm considering some of it bulk as well. Since I want to free up some cash flow too.

Don't know how many of you all like eBooks then if you do you may or may not like them on Lego's but get a whole bunch (legally) from $1 or 16 of them for $15. Plus your purchase partially gets donated! https://www.humblebundle.com/books/lego-book-bundle

I have one of the Gold Chrome 1-10000 C3POs that were given away at Comic Con a few years back. I need to have it evaluated and have its condition legally documented. Does anyone know of a reliable appraiser for Legos in the Orange County/LA County area of Southern California? Thanks. Theatrix

According to the Brand Finance asset managers, LEGO is now the most powerful brand in the world (in terms of image and recognition, one would imagine) having overtaken Ferrari. What, if anything does this mean for investment potential?
