A guy on Eurobricks just posted that he is willing to sell a used cafe corner and is willing to negotiate the price. He has taken the model apart and put it in baggies and has sealed the box with the instructions and no missing pieces. He will ship to the U.S. and Canada, so if you're looking to get a good deal on a used set that goes for over $600 when used here's your chance. The link- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=72781&pid=1366958&st=0e;ntry1366958; The only question I have with this though is will the value continue to rise or is this the peak since the set has lost value the last 2 months with last month being a 2.5% drop

http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=1593-1 http://brickset.com/sets/1593-1/Super-Model-Building-Instructions I have collected the bits for one of these from my left over stock. Its made from the parts from 6929 & 6880. Building it, it looks absolute rubbish, I would say it looks like its been designed by a child, but that insults many children. The Brickset reviews also give it a pasting. Looking at the sold listings on ebay it may go for

Hi Everyone Where can I find those LEGO 19" display figures that we see at LEGO stores? And how much does it cost before people put it on Ebay?

Just a heads up. Barnes & Noble sent out 20% off one item coupons to all those with a membership this morning. They are good through the 14th. Stack those on top of any sales + 10% membership discount and you can get a pretty decent discount.

Hey all, just wanted to say Happy New Year to all and this got me thinking. What was the Lego.com discount schedule for last year? Do they typically repeat offers about the same time every year? It sure would be helpful planning if we knew a little more about what they typically do, even if there are no guarantees of what they'll do this year. I know that (Ed or Jeff) Brickpicker had a great article about how to take advantage of the site, but combining that with a little planning could do well for all of us. Thanks in advance, history buffs! Jim

================== update to original post by jaisonline. Please post all comments here about these two popular shopping days of each year (at least in the U.S.). I also added a poll for Cyber Monday ================== I am a newer member to the forums and collecting and I wasn't here last year for Black Friday Question is: what kind of deals can I expect? I was planning on making a few larger purchases from the lego store for the extra holiday set and extra VIP points but have no other plans Online the way to go? There anything out there more than 50%? Thanks just trying to plan out the finances for holiday season

Check out the links for U.S. carrier's shipping cutoff times for this year. I think I am gonna close my store down on 12/13 since I will be out of town anyway for Xmas and I should be able to ship any orders that weekend to reach customers in time for Xmas. Hope this helps. I would think these would be updated at some point by the carriers to cover their butts. https://www.usps.com/holiday/holiday-shipping-dates.htm http://www.fedex.com/us/holiday/last-days-to-ship.html http://compass.ups.com/ups-holiday-calendar/

Hey guys Does anyone know if these are starting to be faked? I ask because I am able to purchase pretty much every mini figure and block head at a stupid price. I am new to Lego and am not knowledgeable with forgeries. So I guess my question is do these fakes exist? if so is there any way to tell while the characters are sealed in box? Thanks

From what I’ve read, lego will be raising their prices on CMF’s to $4.99 in 2020.

I have been browsing dutch version of eBay and I have been trying a New Way of searching. I look for sets without numbers or price. This seems to indicate that the seller is not knowing about the value of 1975 lego sets. Some sellers really don't know what they have. Is buying a 140 usd set for 32 usd good or bad ethically ?

I bought this set a couple months ago for $7... should I sell it soon or hold on to it? I see it goes for around $20 on eBay. Selling it at that price wouldn't be bad and I'd have more money to invest with.... also it's one of Lego's bundle things where they add a game in with it, here's pictures.

I just bought this set for $13 at my local K-mart (the one me and BlackJack are ranting on about). It retails for $35, so for me it was an impulse buy. They have three left, should I pick up another one? With two more movies coming, and Christmas slowly closing in, I think that anything Hobbit related will do awesomely!!

I bought a Grand Prix racer still in the retail display case. Paid 50$ lights still work and the plexi-glass is amazing. Just wondering what it's worth? Sent from my SM-N950U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

Would you sell those 2 sets together or separate? And do you think this Christmas is a good moment to sell them or do you think they will increase their value?

So i was walking around Meijer yesterday and on the shelf were these two retired sets on the shelf. they did not have a tag or anything, they were just sitting there. I know these were not there the week prior so they must have been hidden in the stockroom or something. Any anyone experienced this before?

I found a store near me that as 5 of 7188 King's Carriage Ambush for $30. Some of the boxes are dinged up a bit too. Should I pounce, or pass? Thanks for any advice!

I know this set is toystory... but it's also also a train, will the good outweigh the bad? I see it runs for around $75 on here. I have the chance to buy it for $55. Should I do it?

I've bought a 8959 Claw digger off of bricklink for $19 in total including shipping. The set, though does not come with box, instructions, or stickers, but the bags are still sealed. Is it worth buying the rest separately and then sell it, or am I better off keeping this set because of this deal?
