We have a number of Lego sets including Duplo such as the various Thomas The Tank sets and we're looking to sell these but in the current CV19 climate we're not sure if the normal means (i.e. using Lego specific websites ) or if we're better off garage selling these. The items we're trying to sell like the Thomas The Train do not have the boxes or instructions but they are complete and the bricks are in very good condition and we are a smoker free household; these bricks have never known smoke. I have a set that has 5 bags - 4 bags were not opened, but the 5th bag was missing and I pieced it together from my used/good condition bricks. question is - do I sell as is as used with pictures of all the bags/instructions? or should I build it and sell it as used/built? the set is star wars troop transport 75140. Bag 1 is the used parts, but missing 2 minifugures. thanks for the comments

Does anyone here use Amazon's Mechanical Turk to earn money towards Lego purchases? I used to be quite active and slowed down but it is another way to earn money to support your Lego habits.

I am trying to decide whether buying Amazon sales is worth it. I see two, maybe three choices. 1. Wait and hope to find the set for sale at Walmart/Meijer/Target.(When I am saying this I am not counting a 40%+ clearance, that to me is a pretty much automatic buy if it is a set I like) 2. Get the set when Lego is doing a promotion(The automatic 5% from ViP points does matter). 3. Get the set when Amazon puts it on sale.(Normally 20% is what you can get) Which choice is the best? I understand that deals like the 60 years of the brick aren't common. I also assume I would hit free shipping on either SaH or Amazon. Thanks!

In the UK, furniture retailer DFS have a “save our butts”-themed ad campaign featuring the film’s main cast. There’s a Lego DFS employee in the ad, and adverts all over the stores. Have I missed something, or is that all the tie-in is? No little exclusive set for a minimum purchase or anything like that? So I ordered 2 red 5's from SAH, and I wasn't home when they were delivered during a thunderstorm. I called cs and they are shipping out two replacements . I kinda want to keep all of them in hindsight if the set is retiring ( even the damaged boxes) . Is there any recourse from SAH if I do that, like will I get in trouble if I say I want to keep them?

Hey, I recently purchased a sealed UCS sand crawler. Ive had nearly 25-30 brittle brown pieces break as I've built the set. Ive received replacements for a few broken pieces from older sets every now and then over the years but would lego really replace this many pieces at once? Worried about potentially getting flagged in their system.

Does Lego sell architecture builds in different sizes? Like Big Ben 21013. Does it come in a larger size and if so how would I identify it?

I found this TIE Pilot helmet in some used stuff I bought. I thought I heard that people collect them, but is it really worth trying to sell it? Is it only marginally more value than a good one?

I came across an ARF shadow trooper polybag in my collection that has a duplicate head in the bag. It has never been opened. I was wondering if this was a common thing for a polybag and if it would impact the value in anyway. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks

Seems LEGO can't do much against people selling the AUSINI Lego clone. Hard to imagine since they clearly are copying licensed material. I wondered if anyone has any experience with buying these Ausini figures and want to share what they think about the quality. Since LEGO nor the second hand sites Ausini-boy is flooding wants to do anything about it, I thought about writing a blog about it and spreading it. Except for a certain Beanmeister22, whose voice still rings thru my head and which I,with this post, also nominate for the most annoying youtube channel presenter, I can't find a single decent review of this Ausini material on the net. I have amassed quite a collection of the Speed Champions series vehicles and think it would be cool to have a transporter to display them on. I have seen a few really nice custom builds, but I was wondering the best auto-transporter set to go for. I really like 6753 and the included cars seems a very close scale to the SC vehicles. If I had the inventory of bricks at home (I bet I have the required inventory at my parents house form childhood) I would love to build a custom model so any suggestions of that would be appreciated. Does anyone have the list of “300 or so” bricks that the LEGO stores are able to choose from for their pick a brick wall? Supposedly you can order a case from them, but how to k ow what I want if I don’t have a list of what’s available!!!

I want to say about a month ago or so there was a video within a topic where a person went through how to make their baseplate modulars (if that's what they are called). It was quite in depth and I believe involved a 32 x 32 baseplate, then putting on 2 x 2 bricks and 4 x 4 plates on top of them so you can change things out fairly easily. I know how to make them but just want to watch the video again as I select the colors that I would ultimately want along with any special plates that I may want to add to an order. I went online to get instructions to built my used set , the book 1 is fine but the book 2 is too dark with the black bricks and I cant see where they can go , is there somedy kind enougth to send me pictures from 57 to the end.Thank you your french friend [email protected]
