Guest brickcrazyhouse Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I'm bored and hoping for a scavenger hunt of sorts. Anyone got any mystery minfigs or pieces? Quote
0 vincevaughn Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I think the back for the tail and sides uses this part. And the front is this headlight brick. They have a hole in the back perfect for connection. I agree that is how it was done. TOK just put it much more elegantly than me lol Quote
0 Alpinemaps Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Thanks guys! That did it. I can't believe I couldn't figure out those middle two bricks. Should have gone with the easiest solution. Never considered the headlight brick with the open back accepting the other connection. Thanks. Quote
0 TheOrcKing Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Here's the final result:Looks like you copied it perfectly. Coincidently, I found this large scale version of K-9 by Steven Locke. 1 Quote
0 jimbucks227 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 It's the base of 4191, Captain's Cabin. Pirates of the Caribbean. BOOM! Wow; quick work! Thanks for that! Not as lucrative as I was hoping... Quote
0 Huskers1236 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Wow; quick work! Thanks for that! Not as lucrative as I was hoping... Yeah, I found one of these in an ebay lot and just parted it out, wasn't worth it. Quote

0 justgod Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Looking for a volunteer. I have two BAGS of figs that have no rhyme or reason as to how they are put together, Anyone want to go through pics and pick out the higher value ones? These are mostly from older sets. Quote
0 vincevaughn Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Just finished another lot and got plenty of partials to track down. I know some people here enjoy tracking these things down . Anyway enjoy and numbers added for easy reference. Thanks in advance gents! Quote

Also have these two pieces which I gave up on after 30 minutes on bricklink lol Thanks all, love this thread I soooo know that second piece. It was only used for the Technic RoboRiders from my youth. I remember buying them all up for no good reason especially The Boss. I mean, you had to have THE BOSS! 1 Quote
0 vincevaughn Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 #1 I think is from Orc Forge after comparing the pictures. Looked at it and it is the base of the Ork Forge....had it in my mind that the Ork Forge had a much darker base lol. Thanks again! I soooo know that second piece. It was only used for the Technic RoboRiders from my youth. I remember buying them all up for no good reason especially The Boss. I mean, you had to have THE BOSS! That's awesome! I remember picking it out of the lot and thinking no way this is LEGO, probably a piece from ***.I. Joe or something. You know it just doesn't look or feel like a LEGO piece. But sure enough it had the LEGO stamp and now I am a bit smarter . Thanks you! Quote
0 TheOrcKing Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 That's awesome! I remember picking it out of the lot and thinking no way this is LEGO, probably a piece from G.I. Joe or something. You know it just doesn't look or feel like a LEGO piece. But sure enough it had the LEGO stamp and now I am a bit smarter . Thanks you!Yeah, Lego came up with some oddball designs for pieces in Technic's formative years including Bionicle. I think that one was supposed to act like a launcher for the RoboRiders wheels. Lego had a weird stage of builds either throwing, flipping, or tossing some sort of projectile or disk. Anyway, you're welcome. Quote

0 br82uca Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Does anyone out there have any idea how much this Star Wars TRU display is worth? Supposedly it's 15 years old according to the seller... is that about right? Quote
0 Huskers1236 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Those are 2005 sets, so it's probably more like 9-10 years old. Not the most iconic ships in the SW universe, but it will still have value since it is Star Wars. Quote
