What Lego set did you NOT buy today?

With all of the threads for what you bought, built, or sold, I think it might be interesting to hear what some people passed up on while out shopping? Might help get an idea of what one doesn't like.

Note: Don't get crazy with this, obviously one could list every set at there local store, but that would defeat the purpose of this.  I'm hoping this might help with impulse buying, which I'm sure many of us have done from time to time...

I did not buy 31009 small cottage for 33% off at Sainsburys in the UK. Only

I did not by the Sith Fury at $49 or Melevolence at $64 at Wal-Mart.

I passed up on these for investments - but I bought one each to build.

Passed on 2 LOTR: Helm's Deep sets for $89 each. The boxes were pretty beat to heck.

I passed on two as well . Boxes were in good shape too. Now going back to clean the place out. Atleast 20 sets clearance. Otherwise I won't sleep well knowing they are still there :)

I did not another Minecraft set.  Amazon has them back in for 34.99, and I like them very much, but I know I will just open it up and add the bricks to my other Minecraft sets.  I need to go to the Lego store and buy 200 of the flat green plates to make my Minecraft collection better, but it is so much easier just buying one of these cool little boxes of goodness.   Anyway, Amazon has a buying limit, so  I would have to have my wife or one of my friends buy it for me.

walmart had clearance of a few galaxy squad sets and i just wasnt feeling it. i bought all the other sets on clearance instead lol.

Tons of Weathertop at 40 ( but I did get a couple )

Tie at 35

Xwing at 40

Goblin King at 69

Mirkwood at 21

Gandalf at 9

Hulk break out at 35

I did not buy a bulk lot of mainly Star Wars lego, contain amongst others 10174 AT AT walker, Jabbas Sail Barge & the original X Wing.

Mainly because I got out bid. :(

Not sure if that counts ;P

The two Walmarts by me both have several Unexpected Gatherings ($49), Mirkwood Spiders ($21), Hulk Breakouts ($35), Attack of the Wargs ($35), Ultra Sonic Raiders ($54), and a single Goblin King ($69).

Meijer has 4 of the Bug Obliterators marked down to $59 with an additional 25% off to put it at $45.

I'm holding out for the LOTR/Hobbits to drop down some more.  Anyone feeling the Bug Obliterators at that price?

Man, you US guys holding out with Hulk at $35 are making me jealous haha.  CAN prices being $65...when I got 4 of mine for $35 I was so happy.  I would buy 20+ if I can get the Hulk set for $35 each, just got to wait for a clearance deal locally :)

Skipped on a couple of Hobbit sets at 30% off.  I've got a lot so far, maybe at 50...

Skipped out on a lot of Hero Factory Sets at 50% off. Just already have as many as I want... even though this might be the first time ever I've passed up Lego at 50% off..

Passed up a LOTR pirate ship at $80. Just because of capital. Set is a winner.

For the next 365 days I should type..... "I didn't buy a 10236 as I don't like it and my gut feeling is that it will bomb."  No doubt I'm alone thinking this?  I'm seeing loads of small/medium City sets now at 50+% off but, I have too many as it is!

I have bought some at 75% off, but that is the only thing that will get me to bite with Hero Factory.

Hero Factory guys are great...for kids to play with.  I don't think they really will do well investing wise.  Though I did buy a witch dr.  and flip it for a $20 profit in about 10 days.

Saw the SOH today at the LEGO Store. I want to build it so bad, but I had to pass today.

I thought I found some clearanced Star Wars set - on the clearance rack. Rang up full price and nothing doing from the workers at Walmart.

:(

The nearest Walmart to me has about five Unexpected Gathering sets for $49.00 each.  I'm not sold yet.

I keep seeing 9472 Attack On Weathertop for $40.  At that price, it still feels like full retail so I passed on it.

Saw 4439 Heavy-Lift Helicopter for $37.50.  Holding out until it is $4.99!

Bought nothing from the Walmart 30% off clearance stuff.  There is ssssssooooooooooo much of this around they will have to drop it to 50% off sooner or later just to move it before Halloween and Christmas stuff starts coming in.

^^^????

Passed on $65 and $59 79010 Goblin King's Battles, the set looks hazardous based on the fact that it's the Hobbit and not LOTR proper, plus there's so many of them around...

Also passed on $55 Ghost Trains.  I've got a couple already, and I think that's going to be the one out of the theme that doesn't do as well as the rest.

Passed a Gungan Sub for $40, a Creator beach house for $35, and all the creationary style games at $21 each (Ninjago, LOTR, etc).
