I didn’t order any Cantina today it is still hard for me to buy these Price increase sets at full MSRP even with the points and GWP when you could have easily just bought it outright for $315.

thanks this helps and yes if it is still around and they discount end of year 40% look out for it flying out the door : )

I am going to wait on the reviews on the Artemis as it looks like more tower less rocket and the build might be tedious if not just repetitive.

I am such a NASA fan I'll be getting it regardless but since no special GWP not at first

The amount of expensive sets still to come is once again ridiculous.  The LOTR GWP if exclusive to the set should help offset the price. Don't forget Jabba’s Sail Barge will most like be a must have, X Mansion, Airjitsu remake on steroids, Notre Dame, and many more.

The LOTR I'll buy with the promo and keep both.  Probably skip Airjitsu unless it is made to go in with City, Docks, Garden and Market.  X Men I'll probably skip but I want.  Jabba's Sail Barge is a yes and Notre Dame is a yes.  Don't forget the Castle Mountain Fortress whatever it is called that will ship as well soon.  Definitely can't afford it all so will need to spread it out over a couple of years unless they have special GWP's.  Hopefully they tone the pace down a bit .....

Good times : )

I'm thinking this Joe Hogan print might have some legs. I never sell at the optimal time lol. I got $95 for the D&D booklet, but that one only seems to be going up. I see that you can buy Hogan's limited prints from Disney Art Walk online for about $80 -- but they ain't LEGO-tized.

What are you guys thinking the roof may be on this print and the date range that it holds the roof before ultimately sliding down?

they must have printed a gazillion droid carriers. still in stock.

I wonder if Star Wars malaise is hurting sales.  I’m basically an OT guy and am about out of SW stuff that interests me. The Cantina will probably be my last big Lego Star Wars purchase (unless Amazon or someone clearances the UCS Falcon for $500).

Let's go!

I think this one is special due to the iconic SW LEGO logo dating back to the 1999 box art. That memory is an emotional trigger. I'm giving LEGO Insider a B+ this year for the Coin and Hogan print. The only way to get to an "A" in my book would be the inclusion of a minifig.

I had purchased the limited edition numbered x-wing print in May/2023, and the limited edition numbered Landspeeder print in May/2022 . Now

Lego is doing another run of these? This doesn't seem right, so much for a numbered limited edition run. Almost feel like asking for my 7000 points back.

Ouch. They went from repeating sets with small tweaks to now repeating rewards? Dang, that hurts, especially since it’s numbered. Looks like the only difference is that the “VIP” logo has been removed from the new one.

This is a new low for LEGO and yet, totally expected at this point.

Were these 3500 points before?

From Reddit:

I just got my Star Wars 25th Anniversary poster and it’s all bent. All they did was set it on the bottom of the box. Would it kill them to put it between two sheets of cardboard? They did the same thing with my D&D printed Adventure last month, which was also mangled. These things are obviously meant to be collectible, so what’s their deal.”

Yes, both were 3500 points each purchased in May of 2022 and 2023.

I guess we'll see the Joe Hogan print repeat itself next year.  Maybe they'll say it's a "Moe" Hogan print to justify.

Thanks found it. I sold mine which arrived damaged so won’t call but this is pushing it.

I've got all 3 of those somewhere in my archives.  I'm confident they didn't print more.  They ended up with extras from last year as they probably pulled it and marked sold out early and then had leftovers so they are adding this year to get rid of them.  Imagine the same thing will happen next year with this years.  I skipped the poster this year as a lot of them arrive bent.  If I am really wanting one in great shape I'll get from eBay pay for it and have them verify there isn't any bends or kinks and that they package it to me properly lol

I think ninjago city at 2700 points or docks at 2300 points is a much better investment than 3500 points for a bent poster

If anyone uses Capitol One shopping, I got some exclusive offers through them with some sets at 15% cashback in my email.  Also, I just made my second SW order (first was May 1st) and all 3 GWPs went through on both orders.  Just got my order confirmation and it had all 3 still, YMMV, but figured I'd call it out since some earlier posts indicated that multiple orders didn't work with the GWPs.

vip rewards and store update stuff

so the Europe r2 d2 keychain prices are coming down

anyone get the make and take Leia Yoda Vader set yet in person ? they are starting to appear on ebay

just need the r2 d2 journal and the Jedi bob vip print though I'll probably wait till next year to get the print when and if they release extra stock lol

I'm not paying $100 or $150 for a bent poster

the limited store Star Wars bag apparently is free with a regular lego size purchase that would go in the bag at stores but stores might be out of gwp so no deal there
