To give an American perspective... I live in Southern California.  MV-22s are flying overhead every day.  Honestly, they are damn cool to see.  I can see many a Marine that would want this set.

Has the interest in this set died off somewhat?

I sold a set on the weekend and have a couple more to sell.

Just wondering whether I keep them for maybe a year or two or is the hype all but over?

I stopped cataloging the auctions.  I'm guessing the avg is still around 650-800 pre ship.

Either way, for those who have tgem it's still 4 x RRP straight after EOL. Isn't that what we all want?

You don't? If I could get 4 x RRP for every set I'd sold I'd be over the moon...

Maybe I don't have one?  🙄

Dusting the cobwebs off this thread, I've noticed that the price has settled.

Is it fair to say the US (collectors perhaps, not resellers) are happy to pay around $500 to $600 dollars? Our UK stock isn't very prominent on ebay.com and the majority of stock seems to be mainly sourced from Russia / Australia.

I paid $800 w/ free shipping from Russia to the US about a month ago. Seems like price has come down a little bit since then. Just built it using the brick set gear fix. Love it!
