Which ones do you think will be the best sellers ? I am thinking 5, 6, 11. Anyone else ? how do you normally predict what will be the sought after ones?

Like others have said, it depends quite a bit on the distribution within a case.  I also can see quite a few of these having additional demand drivers:

  • 3 Zombies - people love zombies.  Plenty of people collect them (e.g. I myself have every Lego zombie minifig) and plenty of people build armies of them for display
  • #10 the Gargoyle - would be great for MoCs of castles or other haunted house type buildings.  Having a few as statues would be excellent.
  • #4 the witch - not sure about the figure itself but the black cat accessory may prove a hit.
  • #8 Zombie cheerleader - because it's a zombie cheerleader!  But also I think those pom poms will have some great uses (make your own cheer squad, or actually use those pom poms for landscaping small trees and bushes etc)
  • #11 Skeleton - mainly for the Halloween pumpkin
  • #2 & #6 - do the pirate zombie and fly guy have unique hands (hook and claw)?  I'm not sure.  They could provide demand if they are unique.

Overall a great series.  And I'll be picking up a box or 2 for sure.

The Catwoman has a whip? ....Kinky. If I wasn't a completest before, this series would have certainly changed that. Man they all are so good! Now comes a dilemma....how much of this series does my mother want for her own collection? Probably all of them too same as me. Ha. Anyway, an entire series of costumed characters is a winner. Holy smokes.

Don't forget this one to complete the set:  http://brickset.com/article/15937

Exactly what I thought he would be; a zombified version of the Series 1 Skateboarder. Not bad and I will get the book when that becomes available.

Yes.

Hi guys,

Ive been collecting mini figures since series 1  and have multiples of many of them. However Ive always searched for each figure Ive wanted. There isnt a single figure I dont like in this release. Im definitely interested in buying a box but have never purchased them this way. Where is the best place to look for the cheapest price on something like that?

Thanx

eBay always has a sealed case in the original shipping carton...

It is small in the checklist picture but over the Lumberjack Werewolf's right shoulder you can spot a bit of tail. Awesome. I wish the angle for the Zombie Pirate was different for his blade at least because I can't tell if it may be a new sword or just a classic one. Another blade for the arsenal is always great. The wailing Banshee's hair is a new 'do I am eager to see in person. Rockenstein's sweet guitar with some bat art makes me really want to come up with a type of guitar/music store modular house even more. I'm hoping for some "Messing with Sasquatch" LEGO clips to pop up on YouTube after this Sasquatch minifigure hits shelves. Those are hilarious.

Also I spot a tiny fly print on the Mad Scientist's flask which goes well with the other Fly in the line who has a claw hand very much like Zoidberg. Let's see, Series 13 Alien Trooper with a squid head, now a Fly with a claw hand. Hmm....

Where is the best place to look for the cheapest price on something like that?

Most would say try eBay in particular a seller called Minifigures Plus.

Does getting a sealed box generally mean you're guaranteed to get at least one of every figure?

If the box is indeed factory sealed, you should get three of each minifigure bare minimum. Lately for the few past series, the ratio has been seven characters at 3 each, six characters at 4 each, and three characters at 5 each for a final total of 60 altogether.

That's good to know, thanks. Didn't know if you were getting a truly random sample (including the possibility of missing some entirely) or if the distribution was more even. Definitely makes me want to consider getting a sealed box!
