MartinP
So basically it's a mini of a mini. ....Did I just blow your mind?! You just blew my mind! The mini version of the mini would be great to sell with the mini. It looks like this will be a promo of some sort. Maybe it will be the promo when the 10242 comes out. jbacunn
If this one blows up the same way that the mini of the T1 one did then we should try to get as many of these as we can. It's ridiculous how well that mini T1 does. Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker

It's ridiculous how well that mini T1 does. Exactly what I am thinking. I still have a couple of mini T1s and wish we had better access here to all the cheap sets in the Lego stores overseas. CNH1974
Do we know when it will be available? Actually I think the mini mini looks better than the big one. They have captured the proportions better.

Agreed. This is a very cool little set. One of the best I've seen as far as polybags go.
weakside
have to put in some +$75 orders soon I guess for this polybag... looks really good. if this comes out July or August what are sets people ordering to get this? maybe more vw campers, GE, HH, etc.

Migration
The only way to improve on that would be to put the Union Jack on the roof.
comicblast
Concerning the actual build, I don't really like how LEGO did the body of the car. It's just too flat and boxy for my taste. It sort of misses out on what makes the VW Mini the VW Mini.
Huskers1236
Will definitely have to take advantage of this promo, just wish I had gotten more than a couple of the T1 polys as one ended up built to go next to its big brother.
Ciglione
nice! I still regret I missed the other VW poly. I will place many orders if this becomes the promo.
Crustybeaver
It doesn't exactly look like a mini. Without knowing it is designed around one it would just look like any other standard City car. Unlike the T1 mini which needs no hinting as to what it is, I do wonder if this would yield similar returns

@rtisan
Awesome! There is still lots of detail in even such tiny model. Thanks for sharing TOK!
TheOrcKing
Now that I can get Eurobricks up when earlier I couldn't for whatever reason, I can post this link to a digital rendition of the MINI Cooper polybag for use in the Lego Digital Designer software. Below are a couple of nicely done renders to check out.
Guest TabbyBoy
No doubt eBay buyers will be paying silly money for this promo like they did with the small VW Camper. This is why I'm going to place muitiple orders! ;-)

Crustybeaver
No doubt eBay buyers will be paying silly money for this promo like they did with the small VW Camper. I just can't see it, this doesn't resemble a mini. Maybe the name on the packet alone is enough to sell it, but for me it looks poor

The small VW Camper didn't float my boat either but, I did very well out of them.
naf
My first impression is meh on this one. After TheOrcKing posted the 3d render from different angles, it looks better, but I think you'd be hard pressed to have people say that it's a classic mini without telling them first. This just looks like a generic green Lego car, albeit a pretty good one. One of the things that made the mini VW camper great is the fact that it looks unmistakenly like a VW camper. It also had the VW logo sticker for the front. I'm usually not one to advocate for stickers, but I think the mini mini cooper would be improved by having a sticker for the white hood stripes. Jimking23
It seems the Mini Cooper promo is only available with the purchase of the Mini Cooper. Does anyone know/guess if it will be available with any Lego purchase come Aug
Houseoflegos
I purchased the mini with Lego Shop at Home and the mini polybag was added to my cart automatically - plus the TMNT Shredder figure. Double bonus for VIPs.
