Considering how there were only four sets in the Racers line last year and there doesn't seem to be any new ones for this one. Is that a sign the theme could be completely discontinued, maybe it is taking a temporary break and could come back with new sets next year, or does anyone even care about it at all to begin with? I don't think the line has been discontinued but the lack of anything at all this year (not even word of a polybag) is strangely odd.

So the Ferrari Racers polybag series is being released here in Australia at Shell Service stations. $6 if you purchase V-Power petrol, otherwise $8. I've had a look at the price guides and they don't really give a clear guide in that the polybags sold were earlier obviously when it was a new release. I am assuming as the F1 continues to tour worldwide, everyone will get a chance to pick these up. Now, I know nothing of polybags and how well they fare in the future though others swear by them. Do people think it will do well? Is it worth grabbing a few sets to stash away for further down the road? Or just pick and choose the individual cars and load up on them? Or …

This theme seemed like a huge flop, (only had one wave) and I was wondering if there is ANY growth potential in ANY of the sets.

Why doesn't Lego make NASCAR replicas? They could be a huge hit here in the USA. Maybe use the Technic platform. Thoughts?

Eurobricks member gordongordon posted a neat first look and review of the new collectible ferrari truck which will soon be available worldwide and only from Shell gas stations. Here's the link- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=73075&pid=1365198&st=0e;ntry1365198; Personally I think this will be a nice little series to own but I'm not really sure how much they will go up in value later on since the only thing they have going for them is that they are Ferrari and you can only get them at Shell.
