I just noticed this one at my Walmart for $49, must have been returned or something since I don't think they carry it anymore. I'd like some input on this one, I can see how past space shuttles have done, but since this is a rocket, it should probably be treated a bit differently. It could be a dud, but it seems to me that since they don't make these very often, it should grow pretty well.

I have just bought the following city sets brand new from a seller on Amazon at what I think is a good price: 7 9 9 2 7 9 9 4 7 9 9 8 These have been retired for some years now. Any ideas on the best way or place to sell them? I am guessing ebay or bricklink. I am located in China and have no experience selling Lego.

Whatever agreement Toys R Us has with Lego other than permission to sell items months before the competitors must also include having a near monopoly on polybags as well because here is yet another one being sold by them in stores for $4.99. via The Brick Fan

4202 is sold out on LEGO Shop at Home and was part of the recent clearance. IMO this is a pretty cool set. There have been many Lego dump trucks and construction themed sets over the years and I love them all. This dump truck (or mining truck) is unique in its large size, etc. I noticed last night my local Target still had a couple left, but I did not pull the trigger. Still on the fence about how this set will perform. How do you all feel about 4202 in the future? And is production of this set definitely over?

How long do sets like the Grand Emporium(10211) stay in production? I noticed that some of the older Town modular sets like the Cafe Corner(10182) are selling for over $1000 on EBAY. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-10182-Cafe-Corner-NEW-/320781576179?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab01267f3#ht_596wt_1040 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-City-Town-10182-Cafe-Corner-New-Sealed-/300537352140?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45f96c0fcc#ht_581wt_905 WOW!

Starting a thread for this as it seems to be done in Europe after only 4 months. Verly low seller count so it will be a hidden gem if that is true and a heads-up for the US, where it is still available.

With the recent Shopko and Wal-Mart clearance on this set I thought I would start a topic to discuss it's investment potential. These days if a set isn't Star Wars or an exclusive then it doesn't seem to garner much interest. A lot of us have learned that completely overlooking the small to medium sized sets from less popular themes can be a huge mistake. This set is one that I feel deserves some attention. The City theme can be a tough theme to predict "winners". Police and Fire sub themes tend to be rehashed every other year. Most of those sets can be avoided for investment unless found at a steep discount. Construction sets on the other hand don't seem to be on th…

Fire and police are two important parts of a city, but if you buy fire boat [for example]. Where do you put it? Same with a police helicopter, if you don't have a landing pad, where do you put it?

Hello. I might have a chance to buy a few of these sets at a very cheap price brand new. How do you think it will do in a year or two? Im thinking its quite a unique set as far as police stations go and I think it will do ok. Your comments will be very grateful. Cheers.

I just found this polybag at Target's seasonal candy section in a big display box on the shelf. I guess for Valentine's Day next month? Retail was $3.99 the usual.
