After the demise of Railbricks.com, things were a bit "empty" in the LEGO Train railroading world. Luckily Cale Leiphart (a famous LEGO Train AFOL) has stepped into the void with a few buddies and today marks the launch of http://www.brickmodelrailroader.com. I'm hoping they manage to turn this into an ongoing stop for LEGO Train addicts. Take a look yourself.

Hey Folks, I just visited our local cinema because they have one giant MF in their entrance area as a promo for Rogue one. This monster MOC is build from a Legoholic around town. He states that this is the biggest MF in the world (except the real one in a galaxy far far away ) ! It has around 35.000 pieces and the outer shell contains mostly the original grey pieces. It's about 1,83 metres (6 ft) long and 1,24 (around 4 ft) metres wide and it took 2 years to build it. But enjoy the pics yourself. just wanted to share this, all credits goes to this insane guy who build it. I was very impressed by this MOC! And I was quite suprised to find something…

For my final post of this year, I am proud to introduce the Range Rover Evoque with air ride. The car was too black so I added white, it was too low so I raised it a stud and the hood wasn't slanted enough so I re-created the front of the vehicle. I reduced the weight to 6.3 pounds (2850g) The car functions really well, I highly suggest using an S-brick for this car as the receivers are hidden behind the seats. This car has 4wd, air ride, torsion bar suspension, 2 XL motors for drive, 2 m motors for lift, V8, servo for steering, gear shifter turns on the lights. The car is finally to a perfect scale. The hard parts of this build was the air ride, torsion b…

Here is the long-awaited collage for this year's Nnovvember build event. The number of entries this time is noticeably smaller than the last (which was around a hundred or something) but still very impressive finishing at 77 Vic Vipers between 48 builders. You can check out the Flickr group to see more. I had thought of posting a handful each day similar to what I do with SHIPtember ....but then I realize just how many designs this one event can bring in. Ha. Nnovvember 2016

Hi guys, so I was somewhat inspired by a recent job where I got to work at the legendary Abbey Road studios! I decided to make my own version of the iconic Beatles album cover using a mix of the new Beatles mini figs (for the yellow submarine) and some of my favourite imperials. DSC_2808 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I call this build 'The Imperial March' DSC_2790 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr 2016-12-19_02-43-14 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I tried to get some of the background detail into this build but felt the car would be the wrong scale so opted to leave it out. Hi guys, to celebrate Rogue One hitting the screens in the UK I have gone back to my favourite style of building and created this Scarif micro landscape. Hi guys, so I have been very busy recently with my builds! I have a lot to share starting with this recreation of a classic scene. IMG_20161203_151458 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr This build sits on a 12x14 base. I have tried to recreate the weather vane as faithfully to the film. IMG_20161203_135638 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr The Luke mini fig is a custom, which I dont often like using, however the printing work on this figure is outstanding and looks perfect. IMG_20161208_225410 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I am really happy with the technique to make the bridge and think it works really well. IMG_20161207_145604 by dimitrin…

This F1 Racecar was something Dugald and I have been talking about doing for a long time. All of the regular batteries and motors just aren't fast enough. We tried our best to keep everything light weight, but enough paneling to show the curves of a real F1. Flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHskMrkHjm Fastest car we've ever built by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Technic Addict was so kind to lend us his RC buggy motors, battery pack and Michelin tires. (I am quite fond of those tires, but I checked bricklink and found the cheapest used pair to be 110$ for all 4 so yeah... not going to buy em Back end fun by lachlan cameron, on F…

Hi guys, another post from me today! I thought I would quickly post this mod on a MOC I made. Earlier I had built the end scene from Revenge of the Sith with Vader, The Emperor and Moff Tarkin looking at the death star being built. I was in the process of dismantling it for parts when I suddenly realised that the exact same shot was used in The Force Awakens as well. So before taking it apart I did a quick modification on it to turn it into Kylo Ren watching the Star Killer base fire its super laser. DSC_2497 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr A simple mod really turning the black space and death star backdrop into a red sky with a laser beam. The control pane…

Hi guys, here is a little MOC I made of my favourite star wars poster, the Episode 1 teaser poster entitled 'Every Saga Has A Beginning' I loved the poster, thought it was so evocative and I wanted to try and recreate it in lego as a 3d Model. The shadow was a bit tricky at first but I am pretty happy with how it turned out - if anyone has any other ideas on how to improve it I would love to know! Anyway, there isnt much to this post as there is really only one angle this MOC works! Hope you enjoy and any feedback, comments and advice welcome. Thanks

Hi, I'm new to this website. I just wanted to share with you my latest MOC. I am pleased to announce my most challenging and rewarding build, the American supercar, the Hennessey Venom GT. IMG_0030 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Flickr photos: https://flic.kr/s/aHskNRp6jE IMG_1242 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This build has a V8 twin turbo engine, a motorized rear wing, working steering wheel, 6x lights and a 8 inch GPS built into the center console. IMG_1089 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This car has quite a few new ideas and build styles that I will definitely be pursuing in the future. IMG_1257 by lachlan cameron…

Perhaps I should have begun this a while ago, I have posted several MOCs on this site. But instead of posting each new MOC, I am beginning one that will show all from here on into the future. I wont repost one in the past, if interested go ahead and check them out here: http://www.moc-pages.com/home.php/100020 I am not an immensely popular builder. But I do have fun and i use a variety of different builds, build in many genres, using many techniques, and probably have some of the more diverse-types of builds out there. Mostly a technic builder, but sometimes i dabble in mechs, space, and Star Wars Genres. This is my latest build; as we get ready fo…

Hey guys, I have just finished another build, which I would love to share with you all. I call this 'Jabba's PIzza Hutt' Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr For a change this is not related to any scene or landscape from the Star Wars saga but rather a bit of fun I was having with my newly acquired Jabba figure. I had quite a bit of fun with this, like the Emperor's order being number 66... Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr Jabba's tail being too big for his own restaurant! Hi guys, here is a little MOC I put together. IMG_20161014_164521 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I had a few spare bits lying around and had recently acquired a Tauntaun so I thought I would put it to good use! DSC_1899 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr DSC_1942 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I wanted to make this as movie accurate as possible so that is why the colour palette on this build is more grey, to reflect the night time setting of the scene, rather than the traditional tan colours of Jabba's Palace. I should point out the gungan head isnt movie accurate but I put that in for a bit of fun! IMG_20161014_192613 by dimitrinicomanis, on F…

Hi there guys, I havent posted in a while but thats not because I haven't been building, I have just been away with work! I have a couple of builds to share with you starting with this... It is my recreation of the final scenes from Revenge of the Sith. As with all my MOCs I have kept this on a 16x16 base. Here it is in comparison to the actual scene from the film... Quite a fun build this, especially making the Death Star look like it is in the early stages of construction. And I loved the fact I could use the new style Vader and Tarkin (From A-Wing vs Tie Advanced set) as I think they are two really good looking mini figs…

This is one of my simple but fun projects that I have my wife for Valentine's Day. Our last name starts with a B. All lego and it has two 5x5 (actually are 5.5x5.5) plaques from Shutterfly in it. Yes I superglued it (almost a sin I know). Found the lego minifigure bodies to match what we were wearing and our son. Then had heads 3D printed.

I want to build my 75094 but want to display it on a stand. I've seen a few perspex ones but to be honest I'd rather it was a Lego made effort. Would anyone on here be willing to share their instructions with me? Thanks

A tad late with this annual monthly building theme topic (considering MaKtoberfest already is in effect) so I apologize for that but anyway let's go with the flow and see what this year has brought. There is a ton of designs to search for and through as usual therefore this thread will take a while to fill up. In the meantime here are some fantastic space cruisers with more to come. Hi guys, I have just finished another Star Wars MOC. This time I wanted to mess around with the idea of forced perspective and decided to recreate one of my favourite shots from Return of the Jedi. As with all my micro mocs I wanted to stick to the 16x16 base, which in this instance was quite a challenge but eventually I managed to find a way to fit everything I wanted into the scene. The colour palette choice for Jabba's Palace was partly based on the official lego sets of "Jabba's Palace' and 'Rancor Pit' especially the dark grey base for the Palace to sit atop but I decided to go with darker colours for the Palace itself similar to the…

I am a LEGO addict for many years now. I am female, in my late 50's and love to build. My hubby bought me the Imperial Star Destroyer UCS for our 25th anniversary about 13 years ago. Our first adult date was the first Star Wars movie (We have known each other since we were babies). I was so excited. I like the BrickPicker site and am slowly getting my Brickfolio logged in. I do have a question though. I have an extensive collection of LEGO Creator Town sets and the numbers do not come up when I want to add them to my Brickfolio. Is there a problem in the system or just that they aren't worth much? I became a collector of these town sets back in March and have built them …
