Last year's Nnovvember MOC month yielded a total of 91 different Vic Viper designs by 58 creators. Here is the collective collage courtesy of Pascal as is tradition. Be sure to check out the Flickr group if you are interested in seeing the many builds (present and prior) in closer detail. Nnovvember 2017

Built Day 9 yesterday. Question to all, is this a Tractor or a Train? My first reaction was Train, but the wheels are bigger in the back, similar to a tractor? Also the steam is coming off the back and not out of the front like a steam locomotive?

I'm Tom Alphin, author of The LEGO Architect book. For the past 6 months, I've been working on a new in-depth guide exploring LEGO Storage topics. I'm pleased to announce that my LEGO Storage Guide is ready for people to enjoy (and give feedback.) The guide is extensive, with 10 chapters and around 50 pages of free content: Section I: Organizing, Sorting, & Storing LEGO Bricks — The guide walks you through the process of understanding your LEGO collection, exploring different ways to organize your collection, great storage solutions for a LEGO collection of any size, and additional tips and tricks. Just finished this up, figured I'd post it up. The goal was to leave the Haunted House set untouched but to build around it. I also wanted to be able to open the house. All in all I'm happy with how it turned out. Thoughts and comments appreciated.

I volunteered to create company logo with LEGO but can't commit due to time. Is there anywhere out there that will take a logo and create a MOC with pieces required? I started designing in LDD but just don't have the time. Money isn't a big constraint. They want to display this at a corporate event.

I'm fairly new to my adult reintroduction of Lego, and this has meant i've had my beady little eyes on more of the larger more advanced sets to build, which inevitably has lead me to drool over some of the EOL more expensive sets available. And like a lot of people out there I can't justify paying (read: my wife won't let me pay) hundreds sometimes thousands on a set just to build it and break it down again (maybe display it if she thinks it's pretty and there's room). So with budget in mind I started bricklinking 10221 Super Star Destroyer. Now, apart from a few of the more expensive parts (I'm not bothering with minifigs) I've actually stayed fairly true to …

Hello- Playing around with LDD and trying to come up with some alternatives for the 75192 back engine area. One avenue I'm exploring is connecting flat plates at an angle via a skeleton arm or space skeleton arm...however LDD will not let me connect the two. Any tips for getting around this?

Hi all, an interesting question to all of us. Do you collect all sets from a particular theme or do you collect only the interesting sets for you from one line? For me personally it differs: 1. When I "love" a theme then I try to have all of theme (e.g. Indiana Jones, Fantasy Era...) 2. When I only like a theme then I try to have all sets without the old sets that have been remade (e.g. Star Wars UCS without old X-Fighter/Snowspeeder or Winter Creator theme without 10199) 3. When I don't like a theme (to much) I am only buying sets that are wonderful and interesting for me (e.g. Temple of Arjitsu from Ninjago or the ships from …

We spent time buying and building LEGO which always tends to be fun. But sometimes, there's the unspoken task of taking apart sets, breaking them down, and storing them away in a giant box of LEGO to sort in 20 years or various bags. It's sometimes is unpleasant and challenging but fundamentally still apart of LEGO. So I figured I'd get it started. Start dis-assembling my 76042 SHIELD Helicarrier. So far, I'm going in reverse here. Here it is in its former resting location as a centerpiece. Time for the old girl to head to drydock. Managed to get one bag done. Only...many more to go. I might have underestimated how long this would take...

I recently purchased instructions for a few large MOCs. I have all of the parts, and I was looking at the rather long build. Is it easier to pull all of the pieces before I begin (and maybe group them?) or wait till I need a part to go get it? I am also sorting my collection before I begin these builds and trying to figure out if there is an easy way to set it up my organization system, so I can pull the parts fast. Anyone with experience please share.

I like to build at the kitchen table, but I always seem to bump/drop parts I like to build on the floor, but my back gets sore ? Anybody found a good table/surface to build on? Most of the stuff I see seems designed for kids. Thanks?

Hi all, Last weekend I visited a small Lego show in the South of The Netherlands: "Bricktopia". I made a lot of HD video's and some pictures. Unfortunately the pictures were taken with my Vintage Iphone so my apologies for the quality. I saw some great models and a very nice medieval scenery. There was a table where children could do some building, that gave me extra time to walk around . I hope you enjoy the pictures!:

I felt like it was time to step up my game and start modeling more popular, more difficult Hypercars. I was able to create a suspension strong enough not to need torsion bar, for all you purists out there The Chiron is one hypercar most builders do not attempt, therefore I felt it was time to step up and see what happens! Flickr Album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskZHoj1H The Lego car blog: https://thelegocarblog.com/2017/05/15/money-monday/ The Chiron has curves & shapes difficult to replicate. This build began with the simplistic, strong and extremely reliable Framework. This vehicle has a custom W16 motor (designed…

We can use this topic to share pictures and stories of "official" Lego prototypes (aka sketches) of products that were produced or not. Please cite the source if using info from other places. I discovered two sets of pictures today on eurobricks. The picture below is of a larger 1) Speeder Bike and 2) Tie Advanced model and was in a early 2000s Lego magazine. The official release of the UCS 10175 Vader Tie Advanced set debuted in 2006 / 2007. http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=10175-1 Here is another pretty famous prototype of Yavin IV that appeared in DK's Star Wars Lego: The Visual Dictionary.

Trying to contribute more, this is the latest MOC I've completed. It's been around a few months and I'm trying to figure out how to get better pictures while having no lighting equipment. It's a Neo Futuron spaceship named "Deep Space Sentinel." I had the trans-blue dome panels from old sets and I've always wanted to make a spaceship cockpit with them. It got a little bigger than I'd originally planned. The hardest part was getting a stand built. It meant I had to keep it mostly un-assembled while I figured out a decent stand. I want to do the same thing with the other 80's-90's space themes; make giant spaceships.
