A day to celebrate (for me personally). My Lego youtube page reached over 1,000,000 views. Mostly due to the High Speed Passenger Train Video. https://www.youtube.com/user/allnewbricks

Imagine town hall with 9 floors :-) somebody did this? :-) I bought 3 to invest and 1 to build... The building was a great experience and a beautiful lego creation but I wondered how cool it would be to go higher :-)!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-LEGO-Twin-Towers-New-York-Skyscraper-GREAT-SIZE-32-5-INCH-HEIGHT-/131292954397?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276 I have been wanting to build something like this for years and years, but I just don't have the creativity to actually design one myself. I am not looking for something as huge as the one in the link, maybe just the size of one of the medium sized Architecture sets. Does anyone have any idea if there is someone selling instructions or a smaller MOC somewhere?

Hi Forum Members, Greetings from Sydney Australia. I am new to this Forum (the time post a topic) as I have recently started my hobby in Lego. I have a Lego Technic 9396 Helicopter set for a while and started building it yesterday. Unfortunately the round control turning knob does not allow me to activate the different functions of the helicopter. After reviewing the gear mechanism as compared to the instruction manuals. I noted that the gear (dark grey colour) on Page 67 of Book 1 does not engage the remaining gear mechanism and as a result, the turning knob does not control any of the functions. As per the instructions, the centre of this gear is in ro…

When I first got back into LEGO, I promised myself I'd stick to the Architecture series (the theme that got me back into LEGO) and a smattering of whatever I found interesting in Creator Expert and Lego CUUSOO/Ideas themes. But...I've run out of stuff to build! I'm thinking I need to "up it a notch" and start building UCS/Modulars to get my fix. I need projects that don't take one afternoon or even a whole day to build. I need a build that requires me to go to sleep before I awake to *possibly* finish it that day...Or the next. So far I have the following: 1. The whole Architecture series minus Trevi Fountain that my parents have "hinted" not so subt…

What do you do with the extra parts that come with each set? I have been putting them in a Ziploc bag and putting them in the box for the set. When I was younger I would mix them in with my random parts. So, what it is your method?

I have found that since I have gotten back in to Lego that sometimes when I look at buildings I am thinking of how I could build them out of Lego. Am I the only one?

Wow. Great work by this fella. Too bad this larger vehicle wasn't released for the movie like the Sea Cow. https://www.flickr.com/photos/brickmasta/sets/72157644170959096/

Does anyone have any good advice on how to remove a helmet from a minifig head? My son shoved on a Kre-o Transformer helmet onto a Lego minifig head, and the fit is so tight I can't get it off no matter how hard I try. Does anyone have any tips/tricks on the best non-destructive way to remove it? I guess worst case scenario I can try to tear the Transformer helmet apart... But that's a last resort. Thanks!

I don’t really recall if anyone may have wanted to know how to build the San Diego Comic-Con The Ghost Starship exclusive mini-build but here goes anyway. Big credit goes to BrickTsar on YouTube for making a full video review with real good zoomed in shots of the parts list and a time lapse build slower than the previous Batmobile one. There was a few neat techniques and just a couple limited pieces which are the ice cream cone in black and the printed dome piece but everything else should be relatively BrickLinkable. I had to omit the astromech Chopper due to his torso and legs not being available in LDD. Be sure to click on each image if you need it enlarged same as b…

Although still under some construction, Brick City Depot has given their website a fresh coat of paint updating the overall appearance and function of the store. Currently running (for an unknown timeframe) when you sign up for an account will give you access to a set of instructions for building a new Adventure Truck design for free! Moving along, Brick City Depot shall be attending the BrickFair Fan Festival in Virginia this coming August 2-3 where you will be able to check out some of the models from their future print of The LEGO Neighborhood Book. In the image below you can see a small silhouette of the next modular house design to be released. Judging from t…

I really like the sdcc version of the classic style batmobile but won't pay those prices and can't find the instructions yet. So that leaves me to using the LDD to figure it out and parting it through bricklink. Has anyone tried to recreate this? I'm stuck on the back end due to lack of pictures. And on the front bumper how the two center pieces http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3049 connect so closely. If anyone has found pics of the back end the link would be appreciated.

Anyone purchased the pdf/instructions to bricklink Chilli's? And how much did it all cost to complete? My wife loves the design and would like to add it to our small collection. Do we have any builders here that sold their work/custom designs?
