Hey folks! I have a big box of white/pink/red bricks and another big box of white/red/pink plates. I reckon I have enough here to take on building any of the released modular sets so far. Given that I can download the instructions from somewhere, which do you think will: 1) Look decent in those colours? 2) Be buildable mostly with standard bricks? I had green grocer in mind initally, but it will be a sweet/candy shop instead. I do have a lot of other brick parts, so reckon I will have enough to do any of them, but maybe not in the right colours.

Well, another Vic Viper month of building has gone by paying tribute to the late nnenn. As usual, there is a poster map showing a compilation of the many contributions. This year we have 174 Vic Vipers by 115 builders. >Nnovvember 2013 by pasukaru76, on Flickr You can visit the original Vic Vipers Flickr pool to see all the original images as well as some designs not featured.

Hey Everyone, I will be starting a live stream that is primarily focused on Lego builds. Since I build sets regularly I thought, "Why not share it with a community?". I am going to have my first stream on Twitch tomorrow night. I see a lot of build videos, but not too many that are actually live. There is a monthly calendar that I will keep updated on what I will build and when. Currently I am only planning 3 days a week and will be live later in the evening, I have a day job to maintain . So anyone that wants to come and hang out, head over to http://www.twitch.tv/silburned tomorrow at 8pm PDT. Thanks,

Finally finished my Sandcrawler and with Jaisonline's help have already done some fine tuning to the hatches. This thing has great playability and lots of options to modify it. The pics are just a quick MOC to see what it will look like with the studs covered. I can get the elements I need from Bricklink for $40. Then I plan on adding power next.

Hey guys! I came across a very talented Japanese builder, who makes videos of his pop-up building creations. From what I can gather they require more than 10K pieces and take him more than a year (200 hours) to make. What I'm more interested in though is how he generated the instructions and got the piece numbers at the end of this video: Did he use the Digital Designer to do the entire thing first? Take screenshots of each layer? Figure out the piece numbers for each? Is there some other tool he used to do this for him automatically? Quite an amazing monumental effort either way. Thanks in advance for any info, Jay

As of today, April 7th 2018, the original Space theme by LEGO hits the four Earthen decades mark. For many it was what brought us into the building block fold with their band of galactic explorers. Although the theme has not truly been continued in any official capacity outside of a few nods and promos, the classic legacy treks ever onward through the fans' creations with what is generally called as Neo Space. You can find a number of such various MOCs in the thread linked for all the classic Space teams. Classic Space @ 40 by justin_m_winn

Hi guys, so I have finished another micro moc landscape. This time its of one of my favourite scenes from The Force Awakens. The crashed Star Destroyer is such an iconic image from not only the film but the trailers as well that I just had to make it in lego form. I am really pleased with Rey's speeder. I didn't think I would be able to build it at this scale but actually I think this is a pretty good representation. At only eight pieces I dont think its going to get any smaller either! (I did have one version with one less stud at the back but it looked too blocky) The Star Destoryer is a slight variation on a polybag release with a few twe…

I bought set 7994 (the Lego City Harbor) over the summer, but I didn't like the problem it was having with peeling stickers. So I just bought another one. I was taking the set apart and inventorying it so I can sell my current ship, and I noticed the inventory in the back only calls for one pair of blue pants when there are in fact two. I went through and added up all the parts that were in the inventory (counting the string, which I guess Lego does- they did in 2230) and it was in fact the official count: 659. That is not counting the other pair of pants, which would make it 670. I know it's only a one piece difference, but this means that Brickpicker is wrong, the Lego …

First, let me start by saying that I must give credit where credit is due and I mostly copied this build as best I could from the pictures at this link https://www.flickr.c...N06/6937426891/ Second, I hope this is ok. I've always wanted to attempt this but I'm not very creative. I also wanted to make this my own by altering some things and not trying to make an exact copy. Level 4 (top): reserved for the 75034 Death Star Troopers set with large cannon. Level 3: Emperor's chair with window (will be accompanied by Royal Guards from 75034) Level 2: Stormtrooper's area? I'll place some Stormtroopers from set 75078 on this level. Level 1 (bottom): instead of the tra…

Hi Brickpickers! I finished building the 2nd floor of my Pet Shop, but the maintenance guy is just about to paint the walls for remodeling. I want to redesign my 2nd floor, but have any of you created a design plan with more rooms, a bed, tv, etc as a MOC? Please comment or add pictures to this thread!

Hi all. I've made a Himitsu Bako which is a Secret Box (also known as a puzzle box) out of Lego. This box has two ways to get into the hidden compartments and is a fun build, especially for kids. I decided to make a video tutorial with a parts list if anyone fancies making one for themselves. Have fun! Rick. The video can be found here:
