Hey everyone, I posted a version of my Unimog recently.. here are more pictures and another video. For full details of this project check out my mocpages http://mocpages.com/moc.php/407959 I am too lazy to put it all here I had lots of fun with this project, and I think it raises some "firsts" or at least breaks some ground in Technic building in new areas. First, I have no idea for certain, and will probably be proved wrong (which is fine by me) but this model may have the largest third party tires used for Technic models. They are nearly 6 inches tall! I have not seen any taller. Second, I haven't really seen any models being used for muddin'. We hav…

Most of you will know R2D2 from Star Wars and of course the LEGO Set might be on your list when it comes to investments. (I guess if some investors did actually build the sets they own they could build a small droid army ^.^ ) Since it's an awesome LEGO model I guess that a lot of you own one for yourselves as well. Doing most important research on the internet I found some nice R2D2 MOCs/Versions that I'd like to share with you all because I think they are awesome and add some spice to the normal model. Hope you enjoy them.

I just finished building MS using the downloadable instructions from Lego on my ipad. It was very hard to for me to differentiate some of the elements, colors, and placement, especially the black roof slopes. I am going to do the CC next and would like to use printed instructions, but I am not paying $250 for them. I tried using the Staples Laser printing service for just the parts list and it still has poor clarity. Any tips on where to find a better file and/or how to print them in a higher resolution?

I've been thinking about using bricklink to build a set recently. Obviously it would be one that is since retired. I am debating between the Millenium Falcon, Taj Mahal, or Eiffel Tower, although none of those are concrete and I would like to here other suggestions. Has anyone had success with this, any recommendations on how to make it both cost efficient and successful?

What system do you use to sort and store for quick, easy access? I acquired a UHAUL sized load of parts that I want to use for building MOCs and need help. I am thinking some kind of wall-sized drawer-ed system but not sure what people have tested and like. Thanks for any help.

Could anyone please tell me what type of this MOC called? I've seen other superheroes as well but could not find the picture now. And I was wondering whether there is a name for this specific MOC so i could use it for better search. If anyone have an instruction on how to build one of them, it would be great!!! Many thanks

Hello, i was searching for about 100 of these pieces (3633) in dark bluish gray, but prices are really too high! I cannot manage to find one at less than 2 eur each in europe. Now checking recent sales on bricklink it seems that there were bought a lot in past months for like 0,20 cent each but now there is like a general sold out. So i was wondering why this happened and if you know where else i can buy that parts from. Thank you in advance

I have three GE and one is opened to verify contents because the seals looked funky I have three PS and one is damaged box thanks to our good friends at Wal-Mart. I have only one PC I have only one HH and have a feeling I better let that one be. I have one Slave I Which to build??

For those with large city's landscapes etc... Baseplates have not taken a huge jump in pricing. I need a lot of baseplates. Like 30-40. What is the best source, does anyone use non, lego baseplates? The idea of dropping crazy money just on baseplates eeks me.

Discussion / Gallery I just came across this while looking at a couple additions towards the last Iron Builder event that ended in a regretful forfeit by one competitor. Below the image above are links to the main discussion topic with rules for entering and gallery on Flickr if you're curious. (*cough* *cough* brickcrazyhouse ) Anyway below are some good inspiration critters to check out.

I have been rebuilding some sets piecemeal for my own collection and several times now I have need lego rope. being that it's just for me and doesn't need to be 100% original I have been trying to find good replacement string/cord/rope for the lego ropes and I just have not been having any luck. everything is ether too thin or too thick. The lego ropes do come in several different thicknesses and materials which also makes it a bit challenging. so what do you all do when you need some lego rope? it's just hard to justify the prices on the original thing...

Picked one up for $515. It just arrives. Includes all 3 instructions. I'm also trying to figure out a way to get the box which is in below avg condition for next to peanuts. Anyway, I decided to start with the upper 3rd part. With all these dark bley elements, I'm started to go "mad". It is frak-in nuts (so many bags). ...and I thought all the white elements drive me crazy while building 10198 (Tantive IV) last week. I started grouping all the same elements together. Can't wait to sell this one. However, I need to build it for pics and make sure it is 100 % complete. The last I sold was in the box and had a few sealed bags so I never checked before selling…

Having the Christmas spirit in me today, I thought I would start a thread where people could share stories or incidents affecting people other than themselves pertaining to Lego in a positive way. ie. Making a kids day because you didn't want that shredder polybag that you randomly gave him. I know this forum is about investing, making money, knowing what our plastic is worth etc. etc. but it feels like we forget how the end result can really affect people who whole heartedly love Lego. I will start with a link a coworker sent me today. http://globalnews.ca/news/1722843/how-kevin-bieksa-buying-a-star-wars-lego-set-changed-a-young-mans-life/
