Some hard to find/exclusives are 30% off this week, including the Millennium Falcon, AT-AT, Sanctum Santorum, and Jazz Club. A few of these have inflated prices or may only be for pickup. Yay LEGO!

Since I know many of you need good boxes to ship your sets, I have a large pile of quality boxes (mostly LEGO Shop at Home) of all sizes ready for pickup by anyone in the region of Montreal. I used to stockpile boxes for gravtation, but I believe I may have already flooded his stock, his reserve and the backup. And my apologies if the post is somewhat off-topic. The boxes (100+) need to go this week. Thank you!

Just to let you know, at my local LEGO Store in Laval, there are discounts on a few sets that are NOT on discount on shop.lego.com. For instance, some of the smallers sets of Super Heroes line, a few of the TMNT sets and some Friends sets (including Olivia's House 3315). The discounts are 20% off. Of course, no discount on exclusive sets...

Please take a winter catalog for 2013 and turn to page 21 and go to the closest lego store and ask: can I buy this for $34.99 Then you "might" get it for $34.99 CAD Good luck

  5. At my local Superstore (Loblaws), they had Lego Movie Batmobile (70905) on clearance for $52.44 and The Riddler Riddle Racer (70903) for $27.88 - both ~30% off with multiple copies available. I left them there but was tempted... If they have another weekend "no tax"event soon, it might make it worthwhile, but still borderline...thoughts anyone?

I'm gettign ready to watch Can. vs. Fin. and checking out LEGO deals and I noticed that Amazon.ca has matched the Sears price on several sets. Rancor Pit, Olivia's House & JEK-14's Stealth Fighter among them. Since you can use the $10 coupon with Sears over $100, amazon.ca only makes sense if you wanted to order just a set for yourself to build and your order is under $100 AND you wanted free delivery. With Sears orders, I think it is $12.95 for house delivery, and even $3.95 with ship to store (which I always go for so I can check out my boxes all at once) so if you're only ordering a single set, this would be the way to go. Still, I'm excited that maybe, ma…

I got this sent to me in my weekly flyers. They have a decent selection of LEGO near me (Windsor, ON) and since they haven't really had any amazing deals compared to other retailers (at least in Windsor) they have some stock left. I'm hoping to grab a couple more of these coupons in my friends' flyers, although you can also print it online, and have my wife also grab some LEGO. Last week they still had some close to EOL or 'sold out' on S&**** sets, so might be worth a look.

Not amazing by any means but 20% off is better than regular local retail if you want a set or two. I picked up a few Superheroes sets for my own collection (Superman/Lex/Wonderwoman + Wolverine Chopper +Spider Cycle + Arctic Batman) and at $19.99 it's not bad at all. Free delivery and no need to head out to a store. So far no damaged boxes from Future Shop/Best Buy. You might be able to price match somewhere else like Target for additional savings using Red Card or BB for their reward zone points. Haven't seen Superheroes on sale for a while in CAN...and tired of TRU raising some prices before their discounts haha. http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/category/l…

Looks like the Unimog is gone from online (CAN) inventory but the Grand Prix Racer is $119.99. Doesn't seem special but CAN retail price is $149.99 so 20% discount if you want/need one for personal collection.

Was at Costco on the weekend and they had a bunch of Star Wars, City and Friends sets on for about 20-25% off MSRP, including the Dolphin Cruiser, a Friends ranch, the Jedi Scout fighter, and the AT-AP walker. Didn't bite but thought that wasn't too bad.

So did anybody try for that ridiculous trade in today? I heard the lineups were crazy and didn't bother... To those who don't know, a retailer in Canada (futureshop) was offering to trade ANY current generation console game for a free copy of Battlefield 4, AC4: Black Flag, or Call of Duty: Ghosts. Lineups were just insane for it since some people traded in games they found in a dumpster for this (and futureshop subsequently took it). Here are the pics from Financial Post: http://business.financialpost.com/2013/11/09/boxing-day-like-pandemonium-at-futureshop-and-bestbuy-locations-after-free-game-deal/?__lsa=0202-5723

Hi all, here in Quebec we have maxi grocery store, i don't know for the rest of canada , but those kind of ''maxis'' are selling food, but not only. They carry toys, cloth, electronics, while 'maxis' are only for food. In those maxis and compagnie(big one), you can/will find awsome deals. You just need to check or inform you when. At mine here, I even found old atlantis set at 50%. But the regular sets like the new tie fighter will go at 45$, if did not sell after 1-2 week, you get an other 30% off, but they put a sticker -30% on it.. Last years when I found out about this, it was in feb or march, and I was late. All lego were 50%(except 4-5 sets they a…

I'm sure there were cheaper clearance prices at other retailers but saw the decent sale price of $14.98 CAN vs regular $24.99 CAN so called for availability...wanted to buy 2-3 to get closer to free delivery but rep said only one left. Ended up added in Baxter Robot Rampage and 2 Decorating the Tree on sale to get free delivery. My 4yr old will enjoy the 'x-mas tree' build and police atv free polybag.

  19. http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/canada-revenue-agency-paypal-1.4403027 PayPal operates as a legal bank entity in Canada so this was inevitable ... but maybe they should fix the tax laws businesses use to avoid paying taxes instead of going fishing.

  23. Let's try this again I know London Drugs doesn't have the greatest selection of Lego, but a deal is a deal. They are offering $10 gift cards with a minimum $50 lego purchase, regularly priced items only. This offer also applies to other specific items in the store.

  24. Has anyone heard anything about a potential price increase for sets in Canada next year? The Canadian dollar is extremely week, yet for many of the larger sets is actually cheaper in Canada versus anywhere else in the world when converting pricing to USD. For example, the Porsche retails for $300USD in the US or $350CAD in Canada. Yet when you convert $300USD into $CAD the price converts to $400CAD (right now Canada is the cheapest place in the world to buy this set when comparing USD). Does anyone expect any price adjustments in the near future or is this just a story of economics where a Porsche set probably wouldn't sell to well at $400CAD...? (Note: The…

Hey guys, 25% off select sets at Sears.ca. A very small increase up from their usual 20% sales, unfortunately there really isn`t much selection for the price, very little in fact. Worth posting just in case someone wants to pick up something. I wish they would post clearance deals (40%+ off). This is rediculous, the sales usual consist of the same rotation of sets. If they aren`t moving, you`de think after all these months the price would drop even more. Guess not yet! Haha.
