Looks like Walmart in Mississauga Ontario has some deals, ie. LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush for $80 and a couple of smaller superman/batman sets at 20%-30% off. Wish this was in my hood!

Bonjour, Canadians! I didn't know where to put this but this seemed to be the Canada thread. I'm visiting Quebec and Montreal next week for the first time. Furthermore, it's actually my first time in Canada as well! Any worthy LEGO hunting locations in both the cities? I'll be staying inside the city so I wanted to experience them as well as pick up some souvenirs.

If you are a big time airmiles collector like myself then you might want to consider a few LEGO sets that came up in the airmiles rewards. There are 3 sets and it seems quite rare that you can get LEGO direct through airmiles: Ariel's Magical Kiss- 700 airmiles Metalbeard's duel- 750 airmiles Kingdom's Joust- 1600 airmiles Best bang for the buck by far is the Kingdom's Joust when you consider 95 airmiles is about $10CDN so 1600 for the Joust is about right. 700 and 750 for the other 2 sets is a pretty inflated price.... I have enough airmiles for almost 5 Jousts so I think I will pull the trigger

The Cineplex kids combo once again has a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase at TRU. It excludes LEGO that is $129.99 or more. There is also another coupon for Disney's Planes toys. This essentially gives you another 20% off, which can be decent if you combine it with the 20% off already in stores? Last few months they had a $15 off $60 coupon, so this one isn't as good. Just a heads up in case anyone is heading to the theatres!

I have a premium store account where I 'tried' to migrate my .CA account to a .COM account mainly so I can continue listing in USD like I always have done (back in May). Well ever since I can't relist my expired store listing without getting an error saying they have to be converted back to CDN. Also the bulk uploader apparently does not work on eBay.com anymore! No bulk loading is not cool since I relist monthly over 500 items. Called eBay today and they said nothing they can do and many Canadian sellers are affected. I'm being charged USD fees from ebay.com but getting none of the benefits as a eBay.com store seller. They also can't revert my store account back to …

Popped in this weekend for their Star Wars weekend and they had a deal if you spend $50 you get a free Darth Revan or red arm C3PO ploybag. Took Revan naturally but my son was with me and wanted it for himself. Is it wrong that as I watched him beat up Jedi figures with it I was picturing a wad of $20s in battle? I see someone - probably one of you brickpickers! - scooped up the Dirt Bike Transporters earlier today. I saw it for a second at work but was busy and now they are sold out. That being said, most of the sets that are currently 20% off qualify for another 20% off with the code on their homepage. The Rancor at $48 is pretty solid (for Canada, not like the Amazon.com BF sale) and a couple other sets are worth a gander. FYI. Yesterday ran into a TRU in Montreal and surprised to find they have 2 79018 The Lonely Mountain on shelf, which should start to be available to VIPs on Oct. 15. Didn't check with clerks whether could check out with them, but seems they are just there for buyers to pick up. TRU does not put this on their website, so there is no clue that you can find this in store. For those who want this ASAP, a visit to your local TRU store might be worthy.

My local walmart had some new sets on clearance today. Best deal deal was the wizard battle for 38% off. the other sets were so so, 20% or less.

Hey Guys, So after this last Christmas and the Canadian Tire MAdness in stores. Has Anyone been watching there online store? I checked them out and they seem to have some older harder to find sets still available. Although The prices are full price and i dont see any free shipping. My question is has anyone watched to see if there online store goes on clearance or sale? The same sets in stores were discounted 20-30% which seems weird to me that they are full price online.. Let me know what you guys think and if anyone has bought stuff online through them what your experience was. Thanks

Was in Canadian tire last night browsing and came across the LEGO section 20-50% off. There were some good buys (ISD, ATAT, Pirate Ship).
