Is it just me, or has the way the TRU site works changed recently? Before, i could follow from a set to a store stock checker, which would tell me which local stores actually had the item in question. Now i seem to get a generic store finder, helping me to simply locate the stores, which doesn't help me find sets i'm looking for Just me?

Has anyone idea how long Asda will hold stuff for you when you order by click and collect? Want to order stuff stuff before the £10 off for spending £50 ends, but won't be back in the UK for another 2 weeks. Can't find mention of how long on their site.

  8. Figured I'd start a thread, see what people are buying today, Lego or none Lego wise. I went the whole packaging route and basically spent £750 across my 3 accounts to maximize the offer, and bought like my entire next years worth of ink, labels, boxes, envelopes, shelving etc. I can rarely find it cheaper elsewhere, so figured what the hell might as well save some money.

  9. Hello folks, Spotted this, still not 100% sure about this set. Is it any good? From hotukdeals, LEGO Architecture Studio 21050 £104.66 Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-21050-Architecture-Studio/dp/B00MOBNRY4/

  11. I have aquired a Lego set produced for employees of a wind generating company of Borum Riffgrund 1 wind farm in the German sector of the North Sea. It is a 559 piece wind turbine, work platform with a crane and little helicopter. I can't find any value for it probably because only a limited amount have been produced. The model set number is 4002015. Would it be of value to a collector/investor? Any information would be appreciated

With Lego items seemingly retiring in Europe weeks or months before North America, our friends over the pond have had an advantage in that they can stock up on items they know will likely disappear from retail and rise in value very soon. Now I missed out on the Ideas 21301 Birds set when it retired in Europe. It’s performed really well since then and a MISB example currently fetches more than £70 on eBay. Retail here was £39.99. Knowing that it’s still available in multiple US outlets for $44.95 (£32 or so), I decided to look into the possibility of buying a few online in the US and bringing them home to Europe. I’m sure others ma…

Currently 25% but online only, so you risk home delivery and a battered box. Not bad though if you want one to build and if you spend over £100 you get a £10 gift code (£5 if over £50). Possibly the last chance to get this set at a discount and your local Smyths doesn't have in stock.

There's little detailed info out there to date I can find which isn't a million miles from the link and not being a financial advisor its best if you have a read yourself and make your own mind up. One thing I can advise on is it's no good to for the big players.
