I have aquired a Lego set produced for employees of a wind generating company of Borum Riffgrund 1 wind farm in the German sector of the North Sea. It is a 559 piece wind turbine, work platform with a crane and little helicopter. I can't find any value for it probably because only a limited amount have been produced. The model set number is 4002015. Would it be of value to a collector/investor? Any information would be appreciated

Figured I'd start a thread, see what people are buying today, Lego or none Lego wise. I went the whole packaging route and basically spent £750 across my 3 accounts to maximize the offer, and bought like my entire next years worth of ink, labels, boxes, envelopes, shelving etc. I can rarely find it cheaper elsewhere, so figured what the hell might as well save some money.

Does anyone want to hazard an opinion on if we'll see anymore Lego promotions in the UK before x-mas? Similar to Argos 3-4-2, tesco CC points etc? Or are we done until Christmas (not that I haven't spent enough already but if something were to come around November time say then the next payday will have been :))

While exclusives like the modulars are always available on amazon.com (sold by amazon.com, and of course as long as they are, in fact, available), the same sets are not sold by amazon.co.uk (on that site yes, but not by amazon.co.uk, only by resellers for respective prices). Does anyone know the reason for this? Is amazon.co.uk maybe simply not allowed to sell exclusives, while the same site in the US is? The same seems to be true for, for instance amazon.de. Rather disappointing.

Currently 25% but online only, so you risk home delivery and a battered box. Not bad though if you want one to build and if you spend over £100 you get a £10 gift code (£5 if over £50). Possibly the last chance to get this set at a discount and your local Smyths doesn't have in stock.

Hey all, Not sure how useful this will actually be (doubt many have a big enough Tesco CC balance to really make it worth while and might have better things to use the point for) but Tesco CC boost starts on the 3rd. Everything on Tesco direct is available so you can double up your points and effectively get any set they have at 50% off. Side not but when did these things start expiring???? I haven't used any since i started collecting back in 09 and only now have found out they only last 2 years. Doh!

Hey guys just checked Smyths toys and their having a clearout on click and collect only so they might have some sets in your local store. Mainly on Movie sets and Chima, I just picked up 5 Phoenix Temple's £50 each, another 4 Benny's spaceship at £50 (they have been cheaper but still a descent price) and a set I never thought I'd buy but for £30 each I picked up 4 Movie dropships. So check the stock in your local store and worth a punt if there in stock. Oh and be quick it's not on Hotdeals yet!

Has anyone used Kidits.co.uk to get Lego btw? Looking at there site they have some good prices available (although they still have SSD on their site albeit marked OOS - thanks!). I know they're based in Spain and that's where they ship there stock from. I've sent them a couple of mails and they've come back pretty quickly. Tried googling the complany though for reviews and got not much back. Wondered if anyone had ever ordered from them?

Hey, Anyone know of any good stores that sell older Lego in London? I'm not talking Argos and Lego Store etc. Wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that might still shelve recently retired items? Or am i effectively asking if anyone knows where I can get a Unicorn?
