A Toys R Us exclusive polybag and the second time Hulk is a minifigure instead of the more appropriate 'big fig'. Source

  3. Started by Pseudoty,

Did anyone see that their store got more then one case of 200 bags? I know more will be available at TRU once the promo begins but assuming 876 TRU stores in the USA x 200/Store = 175,200 Polys. Anyone have something comparable to compare to in quantity/demand to see if these may dry up and increase in value or if it is all downhill from here.

  4. Rumor is The Trickster minifigure we saw months ago could be the exclusive minifigure to be included. Source: The Brick Fan

With the cinematic success of Captain America 2: TWS, I am curious to see if Lego would move forward with providing him as a Mini-fig sometime soon(as they did with Martian ManHunter). Well

  6. This limited exclusive will set you back by $40 and far as I can tell the characters here are just a lighter gray than the ones found in the regular sets.

Saw this starting to hit clearance, and was wondering what the opinions are on its potential. I know nothing about the characters in this set, but they are pretty rare in lego form, and the Groot maxi looks cool. seems like a decent part selection as well, though the build doesnt look that strong on its own.

Lego sets pretty much confirmed for the new movie in May 2016. http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-captain-america-civil-war-license-announced/ and based on imdb winter soldier is definitely in the movie, as well as a few potential new minifigs.

Here is promo allegedly given out for the Lego KidsFest in Virginia. It's so weird for a unique item to have been kept in the dark until popping up on eBay. Source: The Brick Fan

What are everyone's thoughts on this after EOL? I don't think it's got long left, it's currently 30-35% off here! it has been cheaper but wondering whether to get a few The EOL other sets from the marvel superheroes range seem to be appreciating nicely, but largely due to good minifigures (6866, 6865) (sold all 16 of my 6866 now for 3x what I bought, but think that was largely due to Deadpool and magneto, still hanging onto my 6865s for now)

A sign of things to come? I have picked these both up at pretty good discounts at various Walmarts lately. I can understand maybe removing them from shelves, but they are already completely deleted from the website. What could that mean? *wink wink, nudge nudge*

So far I have the following Lego sets for investment purposes (I am new to the Lego investment thing). 6865 Captain America avenging cycle 6866 Wolverine chopper show down 6867 Loki cosmic cube escape 6868 Hulk helicarrier breakout 6869 Quinjet aerial battle 6862 Superman vs Power Armor Lex 6873 Doc Ock Ambush I agree that Captain America set is doing decent in value right now , Wolverine chopper showdown is doing pretty good in value and Loki cube escape okay I guess (based on what ebay prices they are going for). Here are some things to consider or are happeni…

the doc ock ambush and captain america cycle got retired pretty early. Do you think that this will be the same with the daily bugle set? I think that lego is trying to get out as many new Marvel sets out before their rights to marvel superheroes are over. Meaning that they have to retire sets to make shelf space. How much longer do you think the daily bugle showdown will stay in stores?

Is this going to be good investment just seen on smyths its a hard too find item? Also only

  21. Started by amnesiac,

I know this isnt the EOL section, but I thought it get better responses here. I am real bullish on the Extremis set due to the War Machine minifig. With the Iron Man movies at an end I dont see War Machine coming back to theaters anytime soon and doubt that it will be reissued in another Super Heroes set down the line. I know that this set was released last January and it's probably unlikely that it will retire anytime soon but I wanted to get the boardies to chime in here. A lot of the Marvel stuff seems to be going away and its got me kinda nervous about waiting for a better sale to start mass buying this set. Tell me what you guys think....

So we have already seen The Riddler Chase set in the pictures but the other Batman set names have been floating around for a little while. 76010 The Penguin Face-Off 76011 Man Bat Attack 76012 The Riddler Chase 76013 The Joker Steam Roller Now pictures are starting to surface of new minifigures of Batgirl and The Joker. Hopefully they are legit, as the Batgirl in particular looks awesome.

  24. what, in your opinion are the best dc and best marvel sets of all time. This also includes the original "batman" themed sets from way back when
