I just added a few of my recent investments to the portfolio. I cannot believe the amount. I am running out of space. Selling has begun on a minimal basis and so far has been highly profitable. I chose well and my net rates of return are fantastic, compared to anything in the markets. Here is to saving all the dang shipping boxes and packing material. I am not crazy after all. In terms of big boys, I sure hope the remaining slow sets retire. That being Death Star, Tower Bridge, T1 Camper Van, Orthanc, Ewok Village, PS. Hi all, Don't know if this is the right place to post this. But I just made my very first sale! Flipped a Mos Eisley for $501 on eBay. Taking the family for a weekend in London on the 10th May and me and my son are swinging by the Lego show at the O2 Arena when the girls go shopping. Shame a ticket only gets you a 3hr slot for the show but me and the boy are going to make the most of it. Anyone else going??? Cheers.

While I'm an undisputed "Lifetime LEGO Lover", I just visited Billund for the first time as part of the Fan Media Days event. My Impressions: Billund is a magical town where the bakery is perfect, the streets are clean and freshly paved, and everyone you meet is wearing the classic Minifigure smile. The town of Billund is quite literally LEGO land — the center of town where City Hall used to be has even been replaced by the magnificent LEGO House! Do any of you ever buy the mysterious "x" number of lbs grab bags of miscellaneous lego parts? What are your thoughts on these mystery bags ? I have scoured some of the thrift stores in my area and while I have turned up a huge amount of sets I have found some rather interesting finds a few months back I picked up 8 bags of legos at a good will for $45 and I think there may have been an old star wars tie fighter in the bag. A Friend of mine went to a good will and picked up two huge bags of legos one had a super star destroyer kit or a least part of it , and the other bag her scored had a star wars AT Walker kit in it both bags cost him less than $30. The discussion in the Walmart Clearance thread about 60139 got me thinking - What are some of the longest set production runs for Non-Exclusives/Architecture etc? Also going to exclude Duplo and the standard LEGO blocks (classic) here. 3 years is long, but not long enough to make this list I imagine. I'm looking for stuff out at least 3.5+. Hi all, I wanted to get word out about a Lego Kickstarter project that is being run by my friend Nile and I for a build taking place at the World War Brick Minneapolis 2016 convention June 10th-12th.
