Not sure if anyone ever posted photos of this or not. It traveled from Legoland Florida to the 40th Anniversary of the Mustang Club of America Event in Indianapolis this weekend. Event is at the 500 Motor Speedway. Hundreds of Mustangs from all over! There is a contest to give # of bricks used to build the Mustang. Wow!! It is awesome!! Enjoy!

A neighborhood near me had a garage sale last weekend. No toys that were worth buying but I did pick up some plastic storage drawer units for $10. There was some random computer cables in the large bin that I gave back to the seller but he said what ever is left in there I can have. I was cleaning them to put my Lego in and found 4 complete books of Forever stamps. Nice! At $0.49 cents I got $39 of stamps and two big storage drawer units for $10. Not bad.

Have you always wanted to organize your LEGO collection, but didn't know how to get started? Or, maybe you've already sorted your LEGO, but it's hard to find which box, bin or drawer has the part you need? I'm excited to share a massive update to the LEGO Brick Labels collection to include most of the bricks in a typical AFOL LEGO collection.Sample showing crisp images and a clear description of each LEGO Element. This updated collection includes 500 different labels organized into the following groups: Basic Elements (bricks, plates, tiles), SNOT Elements, Slopes, Wedges, Round, Curved, Clips/Hinges. Two additional groups are in “beta” because they aren’t quite complet…

http://toynewsi.com/news.php?itemid=22032&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook If anyone might find this interesting, not necessarily for investing, just cause. I do like the Kre-O Terrordrome. I had the original when I was a kid. I wonder if a jet pops out of the middle

We just won a family gold ticket to the exclusive pre opening of the Belgium Lego store. It is the day before the store actually opens on the 26th. Anyone ever been to one of these events? Any idea what we can expect?

Hey, Was wondering if any of you who build have any expertise on a good quality Lego table for the kiddos. I've been browsing EBay and Amazon and have taken a liking to a table made by a company in North Dakota called Flextoys, they make what looks like a good quality, sturdy table with solid oak legs. They offer a model with or without a mesh storage bag in the middle for about 160 plus 20 bucks to ship. There's also some less impressive looking all-plastic tables and an official Lego table with a pretty cool singular design but it's well over 200 bucks. Anyone have any good advice on this stuff?

Every so often I like to play around on Google Trends. If you have not heard of Google Trends before, it is "a public web facility of Google Inc., based on Google Search, that shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume" (source: Wikipedia). Basically, it shows you how often people Google stuff over time. I got to thinking the other day about the popularity of Brickpicker since the USA Today article came out about Brickpicker and decided to look up "Brickpicker" on Google Trends. Talk about a Google search explosion for Brickpicker in December and even more so into January! I'll definitely be watching the popularity of Brick…

Today I opened up an excavator technic set to build, and there were 2 Martian Manhunters in there instead of one! Anyone else ever gotten an extra freebie? It feels great it's like an additional $15 off the set.

There are $110, so with coupon and free shipping paid about $85.00, and for that price its great, He talks phrases from the movie. Takes 4 AA batteries, you do have to put him together which only takes 15 minutes. The Atlantic Wire has just released a little narrative of the US government shutdown...in LEGO form! I think this does a pretty good job of explaining what the problems are, and how the government is "trying" to solve those issues. **THIS POST IS NOT MEANT TO SPARK POLITICAL DEBATE. ITS SOLE PURPOSE IS FOR HUMOR AND THE SAKE OF SHARING.** Thank you for your cooperation.

It's that time of year, when you do something nice for someone else, to be generous, to say thanks and take time to appreciate what you have and what you can give. None of us would be here taking advantage of one of the best resources of our new found hobby in LEGO collecting/investing if it weren't for two brothers, our fearless leaders, Jeff and Ed. If you'd like to send them a little Holiday gratitude Pm me. mods: if there's a more appropriate place for this post please move it and add a stickie while you're at it.
