Hi all. Just getting into lego investing and really enjoying the homework involved, I generally only invest in alternatives to the traditional markets and things that are in my posession. I live in North Kalifornia AKA State of Jefferson and really love it here, small town of 700 on the coast. Lots of outdoor activity motrcycling, kayaking, hiking ect... Great site and thanks for the resources! Sadly, I have to depend on internet stores for my purchases, the stores that are here that carry lego do not have much of a selection, but Amazon prime kicks ass! Gremmie

Hey guys, I'm getting into the lego selling business after I saw how profitable it could be. I'm pretty new to this whole Ebay/Bricklink business (selling of course). And I would deeply enjoy any advice given. I'm more of a short-term profit kinda guy, so I'd like to hear your opinions on what sets would be great to buy now and to immediately sell on Ebay. So far I've bought some of the star wars sets + 4 minecraft sets @ $35 each, so yeah. Thanks to whomever created this website, I've been looking for something like this. You'll hear more from me, I intend to become a regular on the forums/site. But in the meantime. Say hello to the noobiest of noobs! :D

Hi. Just thought I'd introduce myself here. I'm a 35 year old afol living in Corvallis Oregon. I have been collecting for a couple years now. I tend to collect mostly Star Wars and LotR sets and like to display them...though I constantly need to buy more shelves it seems... Some other hobbies of mine include disc golf, fantasy football and homebrewing.

Hello everyone! I am new on this website. I am a Lego collector since many years, in particular Technics (vehicle, motorbike, digger). My collection is actually composed by 50 pieces around, from 196 to 2012.

Hi, I'm Matthew. My obsession with LEGO was rekindled a couple years after having our son (about five years ago). First, we received a few kits as gifts, then we bought a few. It wasn't long before I was hooked on playing with LEGO again. About two years ago I was searching for a Batman kit to build with our son, and what I discovered on eBay shocked me. Not kidding. I was floored. The opportunity to invest seemed at once both obvious and sacrilegious. After all, I was brought up to think that LEGO boxes were made to be ripped open and the blocks to be played with...over and over. Right? :-) Now, a few years later, I'm buying "too much" LEGO. About one…

Hi, My Name is Zahree and I'm from Germany. I love building Lego and as a child i wanted to become a LEGO-Architect^^ I collected a lot of legosets as the years rolled by and now i wonder if some of the things i normally hide from my wife are actually worth some real money. My sets are mostly from the 80ies an 90ies. I have 25 models build up but most of the rest ended in a enormous pile of Bricks. Is it worth the effort to rebuild every Model even if i don't have the boxes and instructions? I'm here to find a answer to these (and other) questions and to rediscover a piece of childhood joy along the way. Btw. Sorry for the bad English upfront :-) i try to improve my …

Hi. I am happy to be here. I am quite a toy collector but just started getting into lego after not having touched one in over 20 years. I have also started collecting nanoblocks as well which seem to be a neat adjunct to legos. If there are any other legophiles in ******. Virginia who have advice on where the best places are to buy stuff let me know. Thans.

Hi everybody, my name is Vladimir and I became a Lego enthusiast while my kid grew up and asked for versatile toys to keep his interest active more than the day after opening. Soon we discovered "LEGO Universe" and especially LEGO Mindstorms which is an amazing educational set for all ages. As a result, I'm now teaching young learners to program using LEGO Mindstorms. Besides the technical sets we really love trains especially combined with the Mindstorms that may lead to amazing creations. We also love the big landmarks sets and buildings.

Hi there - just found BrickPicker a few days ago while getting ready to sell some items on eBay. I'm an AFOL (38 years old) from Tempe, Arizona, USA. I've come out of my Dark Ages only about 2 years ago. But in that time I've dedicated three shelves in my home office to LEGO. I mostly build, but don't necessarily collect, the Creator series. I like the 3-in-1 sets. I also have all my old LEGO from when I was a child and have my brother-in-laws sets from when he was a child. The sets are in great shape, and I'm slowly building up all my sets from years gone by. His sets were mostly castle and blacktron. I never got into blacktron, but they're fun to build. Th…

I greet you from Italy, specifically from Udine (Udinese). I buy and sell lego to supplement their income. The tie, however, that I've had since I was a child I keep them for my children. I greet and thank all those who have made this site. It 'super. I hope this will create a mobile application so I can check if a set is in stores bought or not. I hope to meet many fans and make friends. My favorite sets are those of Robin Hood. MANDI A DUC e vive le FRICE. Giovanni

My name is Eric and I just stumbled on your site yesterday. Great information and it is exciting to find a hobby like this. I dabbled in this a year or so ago. I bought a big lego lot on craigs list, took months to sort and put back together and was amazed at the prices people paid. After some reaserch I flipped my investment into 8 death stars and have been waiting for them to go out of production. I talked to someone at Lego in 2011 and they said Feb of 2012 is projected end date. Well.... It is ok I am starting to aquire smaller sets just for fun. Seems like star wars is over produced now and I am fascinated by the lego monster sets. I have just aquired 10 swam…

Hello Everybody- I have been a long time fan of Lego and a lurker on the site for sometime. I enjoy building Mosaic's, mostly of my 2 boys. I collect primarily Lego Creator and Castle/Harry Potter/LOTR but will occasionally grab another set or 2 if something catches my eye. I am looking to further educate myself on the trends of Lego investing not only for financial gain but for the purpose of reinvesting for the purpose of buying sets that I can use for MOC'ing and for my children. Nice to meet all of you and I look forward to contributing to this wonderful site!
